I have a Pompompurin Set from Marty's RV that I'd like to sell. I've never sold nor purchased a Sanrio set before. In doing research to try to find a reasonable price to ask for I've found very different totals. I've found one thread where someone was selling all 6 Sanrio sets for 500 TBT which is about 83 TBT per set. I've found threads where just the clothes were selling for 3 TBT. I've seen a thread where someone was selling the sets for 250,000 IGB. I found a thread where someone was selling the individual set pieces for 5 TBT each. There doesn't seem to be a consistent price charged per set.

I don't want to overcharge anyone but on the other hand I don't want to undercharge either. What do you think is a reasonable price to pay per Sanrio set? Thank you!

Aha! I got the Poll part right this time!

EDIT: First choice should read "1 – 9 TBT or 200,000 – 1.8 Million IGB". Dang typos.

Typo in the poll. You put 200,00. ;)

I'm not personally interested in the Sanrio sets, but I personally would not pay more than 200,000 per piece, because 200,000 seems the most reasonable.

People like to price gouge because the cards are hard to find making the sets rare unless you hack. I mostly see people charge 3 to 5 tbt per peice. If it's all 12 peices I think around 45 to fifty would be fair. For in game bells if you charge 500k to 100k per peice you could get around a million bells. That's my suggestion because there's no reason to be overly greedy. If you are people will just turn to hackers who can multiply the set as much as they want.

Thank you for telling me about the typo! I didn't even see it!

I'm trying really hard not to price gouge. I have no clue how to hack any 3DS game. I do have the Sanrio cards but I don't TT so to get the whole set again would take me days of ordering with Meow Coupons.

I wasn't trying to accuse you as price gouging I'm sorry if it came off that way. It's a good thing you are trying to be fair.

I wouldn't have a clue.
I would give them away, if someone wanted them that badly, and didn't have the amiibo cards.

Tbh you can tell people that you actually have the cards & had to work for the Meow coupons, and charge them up to whatever you want as long as it's reasonable. I would. It's a tedious job!

Why you see different prices up for offer, is because not everyone that sells them actually have the cards. The lower price most likely mean that it is hacked. Ergo, didn't have to do the effort you did. I have nothing against it but what's unfair is to sell it for a high price.

All in all, I think the buyers would understand if you sell them 3-5 tbt/200,000+ bells a piece and 40-45 tbt per set. To me, I think it's alright to charge more than 200,000. Doesn't Gracie herself sell the princess set for like 2m? Sanrio items are even more rare!

The thing is that.. the higher price you put the less people would give in to that offer as there are other shops around. Unless they really want that set & want their stuff legit.

I'm sorry if I sounded defensive. I didn't feel like you were accusing me. I was just very frustrated with trying to figure out a fair price. I didn't mean to take it out on you. I'm very sorry.

It was a bit tedious to get it all with my Meow Coupons - especially since I don't TT. Then I ended up not liking it as much as I thought I would.

I have no clue how to hack a game. Sometimes I wish I did, tbh. I honestly didn't know people could get the sets through hacking! I'm so stupid. I truly thought those who were selling them had the cards & were just TTing to buy the complete sets.

I know how hard it is to earn IGB & TBT so I wouldn't want to over charge but on the flip side I would like to get a little something in return for all the days spent to get the set.
