As the title says, i’m looking for some inspiration on what to do with my beaches....
I’ve managed to fill out portions of them, but they’ve stayed blank most of the game, and I’ve been playing since launch!
I already have a cafe, a beach side diner, and a sort of fishing shop set up by the docks
I put the totally-not-Godzilla statue to look like it’s coming out of the water. Other than that, I’ve just scattered a few random beach-ey items (towels, sand castles, beach chairs, etc.), and planted a whole lot of coconut trees trying to get the bugs that only show up on them.
I have a beach side café next to my dock, a carnival area in the top right area with the rocks and I am working on making a restaurant in the other area with rocks. The rest of the beach I just put some beach chairs and called it a day.
It's been hybrid flower storage space since the beginning of time. But I'll be moving all the flowers over to my bf's island soon so I can actually do stuff with my beaches (and finally start running on them again).
My island is resort so my beaches are full of beach chairs, sand castles and other things guests may like. I have lots of palm trees because bare beaches bother me for some reason, probably because I just like the trees. I try to keep my shore nice and clean for shells, star fragments and the daily bottle.
south beach: beach stuff- beach chairs, sand castles, surfboards, hammock, lifeguard stand, stuff like that! and toward the dock i have a bonfire and stuff on the dock for decoration, but that area is generally still a wip. might make a juice bar or something ^^
west beach: flower storage -_-
east beach: mostly empty because it's so narrow, but i got some blue windflowers stored up top.
I always always love towns that have fishmarkets on them i think its such a great idea! plus, the update really delivered in that aspect, there are so so many new items for a cute fishmarket. This is my personal preference, I tried to find more ideas but this is the only thing I could find.
Cozy blankets everywhere for a cute beach!! These give me a more cottagecore vibe.
I have a tiny beach between my river and airport that I turned into a flamingo nesting ground.
On the other side of the river, before my dock, I have a stall that rotates between being a bait & tackle shop, a surf shop, and selling hot cocoa and mulled cider.
The longest part of my southern beach is a playground area - tire seats, elephant slides, jungle gym, etc.
Oh, there's also a small shark spotter setup on the southeastern edge of the island.
I keep them like regular beaches, beach chairs, surfboards, light house, volley ball, ice cream stand, boat, fishing stuff and the likes. I like decorating my beaches i just wish there was another tree that could go on the beach.
Mine are currently a dumping ground for all my extra flowers and builds that I’ve torn down and not bothered replacing. The only thing that’s been fully decorated is my dock now that Kapp’n is back in the game.
At the moment, mine are pretty much just used as space to store my extra flowers and items. I think the only relevant thing on the beach at the moment is the campsite. It's been there for a few years which was supposed to only be a temporary placement, but I might actually just leave it there since I don't think there's room in the other areas of my island. I'd rather dedicate my last few areas to othe projects and not a campsite, so camping on the beach is a thing on my island I suppose. I did recently try to somewhat decorate an area with some garden chairs and bistro tables, but it feels a little empty. If I can't figure out more to add I might just get rid of it. Beaches are such awkward shapes, it's hard to figure out what to do with them.
I haven't really designed anything just yet dueto holding all my flowers on them. But I do have ideas.
I know one area, I would love to add old boats, and an area with a treasure trove. I love adding the creatures, like the big crabs, adding seaweed to give the beach more flavour. Adding patturns of drawing in the sands is fun.
Maybe an area of beach chairs, and volley ball area.
Ohhh, if yoy wanted a creepy area maybe add a skeleton or grave? I'd say grave because technically graves on the beach arent great due to the waves, but that could show how dire it was to bury them there.
I am technicallt wanted a more over grown, with lil weeds, flowers and seaweed, creatures etc
if one of your shops was near the beach, like my timmy n tommy shop is near the shop, i could imagine them having a lil stall on the beaches.
I keep it pretty simple! I have a couple of more decorated areas like a picnic spot and a pirate/mermaid-themed hideout, but most of my beaches are like this with minimal furniture, nova lights and white cosmos. I also use some of the ruined stone furniture.
