Animal Crossing island advice: how do I add flowers while retaining an overgrown/abandoned aesthetic?

After years of not really doing anything with my island because I could never decide on what sort of aesthetic I wanted to do, I finally decided on a theme that would be a perfect compromise: an abandoned city/suburbs being reclaimed by nature.

However, I also have a lot of flowers, mostly hybrids that have gotten out of control. Most of them have been quarantined to the beach so I can decide on what to do with them later. Now I have a theme in mind and I don't know how to implement these hybrids in a way that wouldn't ruin the abandoned aesthetic of my island. Does anyone have any ideas or advice?

For the hybrid flowers, maybe think of them as remnants of a forgotten civilization or experiments from an old science lab gone wild. You could have them growing in unnatural patterns, like they're mutating and taking over. Cluster them around crumbling buildings, old park areas, or sprouting from abandoned cars or playgrounds to give the island an overgrow beautiful feel. You could even give each hybrid color a meaning or backstory. Maybe black roses only bloom where something tragic happened, or pink ones only grow near places of love and memory. That way, they become part of the island’s forgotten history instead of clashing with the vibe.
