What are your current island plans/what are you up to lately?

I'm building a zen garden with all the rocks. Tomorrow it should be completed and I will focus on decorating it.

I'm finishing up hybrids; just purple pansies and blue roses to go. Which means cleaning up a lot of flowers. After I clear out that space I'll probably turn it into a park or something.
Also trying to collect most of the DIYs besides seasonal ones. I'm at about 70% so it's going okay, but the wreaths/crowns are turning out to be pretty difficult to get.
After I deal with all of the DIYs scattered around, I'll try to get my island to 5 stars for the watering can.

- I have one section of my island that I just can't seem to get right, so I'm working on tweaking the landscaping.
- Hybrids. That's going to be the ongoing, bane of my existence project.
- Paying off my final loan.
- Decorating the house. My main floor and upstairs are pretty well along, the basement is a whole lot of empty, but there are pieces I'm still on the hunt for.
- Getting a 5-star rating. I have been stuck at 4 for forever. I'm going to have to start hiding items on the rocks at the back of the island, just to get decorations down without tripping over them. There will be a massive cleanup, once I get a few lilies of the valley.

I'm moving all the buildings to the beach and near it to totally flatten my island and then make cliffs and rivers on my own. That's gonna be a rough month (non-TT here). But it seems fun!

Im currently crying over my resident services placement, I'm trying to elevate half of the entrance to my island from the airport without shadowing over everything.
Debating resetting. But I never will, therefore I'm debating a second switch now

still working on the decorating part! even if im 450+ hrs into the game, i took it very slow because i was looking for the right things to use!
Pretty happy on how it is coming!
After I'm over with the decoration part, I'll start to work on the friendship level more (im not doing a lot of presents and such), also would like to collect more bugs and fish! My house is still a mess and 3 rooms are still empty so I'll have to work on that too.

I am still at 4 stars, so I am trying to think of ways to decorate tha won't destroy the "Natural" look of my upper levels.

I am also working on a rather dubious film studio in my basement.

-Also trying to come up with how I want to redo a section of my map. Once I have a solid idea, I'll start on that.
-Will probably try to get a villager to move out of my town this weekend as well. I've been holding them for my sister for like 3 weeks now and want to find someone new.

right now I'm in the middle of reorganizing my entire town. I'm laying off trading for the next week or so as I just try to get the layout the way I want it. xD

I'm working on filling in all the naked empty spots on my island so it looks more visually appealing. I'm working on adding a restaurant/café area and I haven't figured out how to lay out my shrine area. I'll add a zen garden and onsen too eventually. My island is like.. japan meets west but has a lot of green accents just thrown everywhere. It doesn't really make sense but it looks good to me.
I also am working on revamping all my paths and terraforming around my museum. So quite a bit going on!
I tried to do the natural approach but it was very boring having an island full of trees and not much else. ;l

I'm currently in the process of moving my house and terraforming where I want it to go. I probably won't move it for a few days though since I only terraform in small chunks most of the time. I have a rough design of where I want it to go, but it's not finalized yet.
