I've played all of them that have been released outside of Japan except City Folk and amiibo Festival. My first game was the Gamecube game. I didn't truly get hooked into the series until New Leaf though. The Gamecube game and Wild World simply didn't have enough to do to entertain me, nor enough customization power.

I’ve purchased amiibo cards, a plush, and a acnh cat thermos (so cute). I’ve only tried Mew Leaf and Pocket Camp aside from acnh but I like New Horizons best of all.

I've played Wild World for the Nintendo DS, City Folk for the Nintendo Wii, New Leaf for the 3DS and New Horizons for the Nintendo Switch.

City Folk was my first Animal Crossing game, then Wild World, New Leaf and New Horizons which I got maybe a week ago haha.

I think New Leaf might still be my favourite. I feel like New Horizons lacks the interactions with neighbours that New Leaf had that just made it more fun and more engaging for the player. New Horizons is fantastic, but I really wish they kept a few features from New Leaf like Tortimer's Island, and a few other things. Also, with the huge island, bug spawns, fish spawns are kind of a pain tbh.

City Folk was a lot of fun for me, and got me hooked on the series, Wild World was interesting, but just didn't captivate me nearly as much as the others that I listed.

I have played all of the AC games released in the US. My ranking would be: ACGC, New Horizons, New Leaf, City Folk, Wild World. I think the GC version just has the most soul but there is also a nostalgia factor for me with that game. I have trouble putting this into words that make sense, but I think the GC version just sticks the closest to what I understand the original intent behind the game to be (which makes sense because it's one of the first games in the series). New Horizons has a lot of cool stuff in terms of customization and has allowed for a lot of player creativity, but I don't take as full advantage of that as a lot of others do.

I've played them all, including the spin-offs and mobile game.

My favorite will always be New Leaf. I had the most fun building my town there and made good memories there.

Second would be ACGC. I started with this one as a lot of other people did, and had fun working on house upgrades and constantly running into Tom Nook.

Third would be New Horizons I guess? I feel like as much negativity as this entry gets, a lot of the new features were sorely missing in the older games.

Fourth is a toss-up between Wild World and City Folk as by this point they're both honestly forgettable to me... LOL.

i played a litttle city folk when i was first using a wii emulator, but other than that, i only really play new horizons

I've played all of the mainline games except Wild World. The original AC GC on the Gamecube was the first game I played, and actually the most recent, playing it on my Steam Deck. City Folk was fun on the Wii, while New Leaf was probably the best on the DS. New Horizons I loved very much, just wish they did more with it from the start instead of waiting for things to get released later on. Hopefully the next game will take the best parts of all the games and put them all into one!

I have played New Leaf, Wild World and New Horizons. I think all of them have their charm, though my favorite in the franchise is definitely New Leaf. It was the first Animal Crossing game I played and what got me into the franchise. I really liked the customization options NL has with scanning QR Codes and how relaxing the music is. In addition, I have plenty of fond memories spent with villagers, so it's definitely the most nostalgic to me. Plus, the island tour mini games were so fun! I only disliked plot resetting because of how tedious it is, but overall, it's an amazing game.

I played Wild World after New Leaf, and I wasn't fond of the game that much. The controls are wonky, the graphics are blurry, there are no substantial holidays that other games in the franchise have, and you cannot tell if Redd's art is genuine or not. I only admired the dialogue and villager interactions in WW, but otherwise, I didn't really enjoy it that much.

New Horizons is the most recent one I bought and I've been enjoying it so far. It's neat how you can place items outside and how can choose where you want to place the houses of your villagers. I think it's also nice that you can customize your island to your heart's content, even if NH is focused too much on designing and customization. In addition, while I definitely agree with others that the dialogue is not as interesting as the older games like NL and WW, it's still a fun game to play.

So yeah, all of the AC games are great in their own way, though for me NL is the most relaxing and enjoyable to play.

The only ones i havent played is city folk and the amiibo boardgame. I had the wii growing up but i dont think i knew about it them then, i like to believe i didnt miss out on much.

I’ve played all of them and still own them all except the n64 game. My favorite is the gamecube game probably because of sentimental value. Weirdly I did not care much for new leaf and I usually see people say it’s their favorite. Something about it did not stick with me at all.

I played a really small amount of the GC game and tried WW a while back. I can see what people mean when they complain about the newer games, the things villagers say don't feel as interesting and the game isn't as quirky with its unique ambiance.

I still play NL, I like it because it feels kind of like a middle ground between the old games and NH.

I like NH and actually love things like being able to choose my skintone and placing items outdoors, but certain things about it feel kind of lacking.

I wouldn't count Pocket Camp as a main series game but as a spin-off. I've tried a few times to get into it but I just can't, I hate the mechanics. Befriending villagers feels like just ticking boxes off a list and I hate gacha stuff.

I've played both HHP and HHD and enjoy them a lot, I love the challenge of designing houses for all villagers and Ilove decorating.

I've played New Leaf since 2014 or 2015, and I played Happy Home Designer in 2019, I think.
Haven't played anything before that, though.

I’ve been playing Pocket Camp Complete and I have to say that I like far better as it now than when it had micro transactions for the crafting supplies. I also see PC as a spin off given how you don’t actually build buildings and shops. I also like how if you see a Villager you absolutely hate in one of your locations, you aren’t required to talk to them or invite them to your campsite. This is the easiest AC game yet where my banned Villagers list is able to make sure those banned from my campsite stay banned forever.

ive played all of them except for city folk, but ive watched hours of gameplay for it on YouTube. I’ve been looking into getting it. As for merch I own quite a bit, but I’ve been trying to get some more of the 2000’s merch recently

I've played Wild World, New Leaf and about five seconds of Pocket Camp back in the day. I've seen streamers/youtubers play Animal Crossing and City Folk, but never played them for myself.

I've played all the main games and also pocket camp. NL and NH are the ones I've put the most time and effort into though.

Wild World was my first, I did a bit on City Folk, New Leaf was the one I played the most in, followed by New Horizons.

Playing around with Pocket Camp Complete, too.

I've also played Animal Crossing Clock and Animal Crossing Calculator.
