Villager Greetings and Catchphrases

What have you guys changed your villager's catchphrases and greetings to??

I changed Kiki's catchphrase to jiji and her greeting to Hi, buttercup
Coco's greeting is Salut, mon chou and she asked me to change her catchphrase once but i kept it at boyoing
And Purrl's greeting is Hi, kitten

I always make their greetings something ridiculous or really dumb

Coach's is "hey girl hey"
Freya's is "woof"
Lobo's is "aloha"
Portia's is "quienes tu papa"
Stitches is his original
Tia's is her orginal
Fauna's is "hola mi amo Fauna"
Eugene's is "argh matey"
Shari's is just plain ole "hi"
and Bones' is "Hi best friend!"

and their catchphrases are all the same they all say "ily<3"

Clyde's greeting is "Hold Your Horses!" and his catchphrase is "Sugar Cube"
Vladimir's catchphrase is "Hmph"
Penelope's catchphrase is "Squeak!"

The rest are just kinda boring

Let's see what ones I can remember... For Wolf Link his greeting has been "Howlin' Good Day", "Grreat To See ya", and "Howl are ya" and his catchphrases have been "Grrreat!", "Howlin'" and "Oh, Midna!" Epona currently has "Hay Neigh-bor" and "Clip Clop". Jeremiah wanted to be spies so his greeting is "Fried Bananas" and catchphrase is "Hoppin". I can't remember any other ones I really liked.

I would always change it to something like a 12 year old boy would find funny like ' in bed' or some dumb swear words lmao but lately I just take whatever saying/greeting they normally say and just type it in again and they act so shocked and blessed that I came up with something so perfect for them. It's like my least favourite villager ping, I get so excited for a new PWP and instead it's just stupid Diva asking for a way to spice things up >:l

Haha when they ask for new catch phrases I really just usually say sure but then keep their old one and they love it. I do it all the time. I always try to do some kinda greeting though

Oh my god! Goose!! I fell in love with goose after pocket camp! I'm so glad to see Goose in someone's town AND really good catch phrases/greetings set for him haha I love that

I believe Cleo's greeting is some variant of 'hi' + 'neighbor.' I thought 'neighbor' was a good one, since horses neigh.

I made Rhonda's greeting "filthy peasants" and her catchphrase "my queen". Whenever I talk to her she says:


Filthy Peasants!
How can I help you, my queen?

I changed Chiefs catchphrase to “yeah girl” since I primarily play female characters. I laugh every time, he just seems so excited and agreeable!

I made Tangy's catchphrase 'cutiepie' just so she'd call me a cutiepie...wh e ez e

marshals greeting is babygirl and his phrase is "uh huh" because i had to clear "im gay" before my friend visited lmAO
lobos greeting is "hey sport" and his catchphrase is "stay safe" cause hes a dad
butch is "darn kids" and "ROOOWF" still because its funny
genji is "hey nerd" a true jock and "otaku" bc hes my weeb bunny
hamlet "sup brah" jock #2 and "hammie" its too cute to change
paula "far out" and "dude" cause shes hippie mom bear
bluebear "OMIGOSH!" and "peach" her initial phrase but my town is a peach town so its cute
agnes "hey" or something lame and "sissy" cause shes my big sis and best friend !
ankha "peasants" and her catchphrase is otaku which i DESPISE
papi "aye" cause....... aye papi...... and "otaku".... must be changed

Pecan is saying burrrn which she picked up from Drago and works fine for him but for a snooty squirrel? Idk, maybe not so much. And I made Chai say remember because she?s an elephant and I couldn?t think of one at the time and it?s been forever and I wish she?d ask for something else or pick up someone else?s before someone else starts saying remember too.

I wish we had more space, it?s too limited. IMO
