True. In Japan, Raymond's being sold for 20-22k yen a pop. That's 185usd and I think he's a savestated Raymond (from a CFW'd Switch.) That's just evil. To think people would do this at a time of crisis. Makes me feel gross.

Depends on what you mean by intended mechanic. Possible within the game because it’s tied to the system clock, sure. Adjusting the system clock is an intended feature of the Switch. But intended as being part of the actual gameplay? I’d argue that it’s not.

You can disagree, and that’s fine. We’ll probably never get a clear enough statement from Nintendo on the matter to know who’s right. And honestly, as long as people don’t harm my own experience I don’t think it even matters what was intended or not.

I mean, one MMORPG I use to play called MapleStory has equipment items that can sell for hundreds of dollars these days. It's not entirely new for fictional pixels to be sold for way too much cash.

I know. I can't believe it myself. I'm glad I got Raymond from a very good person, I'd be devastated if I knew he's so unreachable (temporarily because I'm just crossing my fingers for an Amiibo release tbh.)

Yo, I wasn't talking about OP but informing her why I said the 1st line. I think I might've worded it out strongly but I honestly believe it is getting repetitive (because it usually ends up doing a discussion going around in circles (defending vs arguing) I think both sides have a point regardless.) I get that you didn’t mean any harm.
It just irked me because I feel like people are always ready to jump to TTers defense (basically white-knighting) but seem to think it’s perfectly acceptable to insult or mock non-TTers. That to me is getting pretty tiring. Especially when the discussion was as calm and reasonable as it was before that tone was brought in here (not yours, to be clear)

I can see the discussions seeming repetitive, but nobody’s forced to participate, right? I’ve never really had a chance to discuss it much, so it was honestly kinda nice to have a less hostile space to do so for a while.
