TTing and the daily chores

... bad... things...? by what metric?
As simple as dishonesty like charging people insane prices for things you get in the future or using methods like the one shown above to gain an advantage over people to set the bar real high.

No its not. Its an intended mechanic.
This triggers the hell out of me but Im gonna practice self-control and not comment on that. You are allowed to think whatever you want to think

By definition, TTing is an exploit but Im gonna stay far away from that topic. I think this is the first legit somewhat against TTing thread made. Could be horribly wrong tho
Have you seen what happened yesterday/a day ago-ish? LMAO someone compared irl crimes over TTing. LMAOOO. Trying to gatekeep TTers is getting real old and repetitive at this point like damn. The things we do to relieve boredom during quarantine.

As somebody who has dabbled in videogame development, there is NO WAY TTing happens without them coding into the game.

Wtf? crimes? Do they want us to start imprisoning TTers?

Just putting my two cents out there, but time travel in Animal Crossing is a form of manipulation of how the game's clock functions which some can consider an exploit in some way, but its not necessarily a full-blown exploit. That mostly just comes down to personal opinion.

Edit: I am also not going to respond/explain further on this and I ask you not to try to force me into it, because no matter what you think I am far too stubborn to yield and no one will have fun

I'm a software developer undergrad and I dont see it the same way. Although again, you're allowed to have your own perceptions and ideas

wait, what is dishonest about that? And why do you have to pay high prices...? and what advantage do you have over other people - is the goal to get all the money and all the things? to hoard everything valuable? or is the goal to... have a good time in a sandbox life sim? if that's the goal, the only person cheating you out of having a good time is you by getting so worked up about something that has no reason to affect you. Play with people you want to play with, don't play with people you don't, respect other people's playstyles and let them respect yours. I'll defend your right to not time travel just as hard as someone else's right to do it.

To be fair, Zura did say the first "legit" thread. Let's not pretend THAT met the qualifier. Not even close.

Anyways, I think this thread has ran its course and leaving it open invites fighting so Im gonna just change the title if anyone doesn't object

I don't know. It's a mystery but to be honest with you TTing is just a small aspect. It all comes down to human nature, TT or not, there are people who are greedy and will extort money from others who don't even TT. i.e high entry fees or selling villagers on E-Bay. I personally think they're worse than ppl who do TT imo.

now THAT is something I could get behind

Yeah I dont think TTers are bad personally. I don't TT myself because the devs suggest it

True. In Japan, Raymond's being sold for 20-22k yen a pop. That's 185usd and I think he's a savestated Raymond (from a CFW'd Switch.) That's just evil. To think people would do this at a time of crisis. Makes me feel gross.

Id rather pay someone 185 to teach me how to code than buy a FAKE CAT. I could code him in myself
