Don't know how late I am on this, but what do you think of this?
The whole thing is that they're doing cavity searches and other stuff before you pass through to get into the airport. Basically, they thoroughly search you. HOWEVER, if you are Muslim, then they can only search your head. This is in America, I don't know if it's anywhere else.

My view is that maybe, just maybe, we should start profiling. I know it wouldn't work 100% of the time, but it works pretty damn well for the Israelis and other countries, so why not here?

Personally, I think it's an invasion of privacy.

I don't see how it helps them, other than being able to see if people had things on/in them. It just greatly slows down how fast people get through.

While they're trying to search for bombs, they're neglecting the people that started the whole damn thing.

First of all, that's simply not true at all. They can search Muslims the same as anyone else, I don't where you're getting this info from.

Second of all, for racial profiling, hell to the *censored.3.0*ing no, There is no legislation that I could possibly oppose anymore. It's racial segregation, we'd essentially be returning to the 60's. People think, "AH, THOSE GAWD DAMN MUSLAMS ARE AGAINST US!" No, they're not. You'd be racially profiling some 80 year old from Seattle, or a businessman from Columbus, not a terrorist. Besides that, it would anger the Islamic world. Here's yet another instance of America taking it's irrational anger and fear out on a minority, 99,999% of which haven't done a damn thing, The fear mongering in this country needs to stop. The number of people who have been killed by Islamic terrorists on American soil in the past year: 0. The number who have been killed in murders: 20,000. If you want to improve national security, that's where you start.

So apparently, you didn't get the part of their religion where they're not allowed to be touched, especially the women, anywhere under the neck by anyone other than their husband. That is something most, if not all Muslim women obey.

EDIT: Muslim religion aside, I'm just more pissed that they're letting these guys touch anyone anywhere on their body.

do they not allow themselves to be scanned by a full body scanner?

because i haven't heard anything about necessary frisking unless you refused to be scanned.

Except all my family, and many friends, and every single Muslim I know. Hurrr. You know, when Fox news shows you some people living in a Taliban controlled town in Afghanistan, that's not the Muslim world. That's like saying Amish represent all Christians.

*Losing rights when buying a plane ticket
*Getting groaped by complete strangers
*Having to pay and extra fee to get forcibly groaped

The terrorists clearly won and 9/11 was a giant trololol

There was that article about that guy who refused to let them touch his body, not scan him.
And then the one where they "searched" a child and she began to cry because she was scared out of her mind.

Who's saying I got this from Fox news? The last time I watched fox was five months ago when I got tired of listening ramble on about the end of the world because Obama was the president.

I smell bull*censored.2.0* here. This seems like the sort of falsity promulgated on conservative chain e-mails. I Googled it, and all I could find was links to many right-wing blogs.

Seems the Council on American-Islamic Relations had merely sent out a reminder to Muslim travelers... it said nothing to the TSA, nor would it have any weight in doing so. Not surprisingly, I saw a lot of slack-jawed idiots saying Obama was responsible for this.

How *censored.3.0*ing far from reality can people be.

My question is, how do these patdowns find the ingestible bombs and the ones shoved so far up their ass that it would take a colonoscopy to did it?

I'm pretty sure that's what x-rays are for.

Bacon Boy said:
But why not just use them if they work so well?
Possibly harmful. On top of that, it lets the person monitoring the x-ray see the person naked. Images taken by the machines have been posted online, so their security guarantees certainly don't seem airtight.
