Don't know how late I am on this, but what do you think of this?
The whole thing is that they're doing cavity searches and other stuff before you pass through to get into the airport. Basically, they thoroughly search you. HOWEVER, if you are Muslim, then they can only search your head. This is in America, I don't know if it's anywhere else.

My view is that maybe, just maybe, we should start profiling. I know it wouldn't work 100% of the time, but it works pretty damn well for the Israelis and other countries, so why not here?

Personally, I think it's an invasion of privacy.

I don't see how it helps them, other than being able to see if people had things on/in them. It just greatly slows down how fast people get through.

Here's yet another instance of America taking it's irrational anger and fear out on a minority, 99,999% of which haven't done a damn thing, The fear mongering in this country needs to stop. The number of people who have been killed by Islamic terrorists on American soil in the past year: 0. The number who have been killed in murders: 20,000. If you want to improve national security, that's where you start.

Possibly harmful. On top of that, it lets the person monitoring the x-ray see the person naked. Images taken by the machines have been posted online, so their security guarantees certainly don't seem airtight.
