Thoughts on super-pale skin?

I like having pale skin- but honestly, it's a pain at times. I can't even go out on a reasonably moderate day in the summer without getting at least a little sunburnt.

I have super pale skin. I don't mind it.
The only thing that bothers me is how quickly I burn in the sun. xD

with scottish and irish lineage, im white as a sheet! nothing wrong with embracing how you were born. i used to get called a vampire and the like because im very fair with dark hair and pink lips. lol.

I love pale skin. My best friend has super pale skin, along with her whole family. (Her father's french, and still has a strong accent)
I think it's pretty. I'd prefer lighter skin from the skin I have, but technically I do have light skin. I tan quite easily, but if you look at my foot, it's the same colour as my moms. (She has light skin) My skin colour varies a lot.

i am a ridiculously pale human (the lightest foundation shades look orange on me) but i also have a million billion freckles so my skin doesn't look all that pale when you see me as a whole? if that makes sense
but yeah when i was like 13/14 i wore super pale white foundation to make myself as pale as possible because no other shades suited my skintone and i was into that whole tumblr goth aesthetic, but as i got older i started to just embrace my natural skintone and stopped wearing foundation altogether unless i'm going out
in terms of tanning, i burn rather than tan (although the burn does later turn into tan) so i just kinda put the strongest suncream i can find on
i think both pale and tanned skin are gorgeous, but i personally prefer being paler

at least u can get a tan i only burn and that's why i only go out once a week

i live in ireland haha we never even see the sun, i only have to worry about getting burned when i'm abroad but in the case i burn so so easily :-(

i live in wales lol we never have sun over here either mostly rain tbh

I think paleness can look unattractive, but it also looks fine on many people, and I know some are unable to get a tan. I am quite pale normally; I have the ability to tan but I just never go outside much. I don't find tanning to be a priority and it's probably not good for my skin anyway. People who tan too much can look freaky as well!

i like pale skin, it looks super cool *^* but as long as its healthy looking, any shade can look really beautiful. im so jealous of people with flawless skin ;c

I'm pale myself, but to be honest? I love when people have dark skin, like -super- dark. Like not tan, but their skin is naturally that way, if that makes sense. Perhaps because it contrasts my own skin so much, but I just find it gorgeous!

It looks good on some people. Sometimes I feel bad for them because they get sunburned so easily while I can stay out in the sun without sunscreen for three hours and not get burned. I have really pale olive skin and I really like it because it brings out my jet black hair. Most people think I'm Chinese because of it when I'm really Filipino.

For my own body, I prefer to get some tan. I'm chinese/caucasian, so my body's version of pale is a weird yellowish tone. I think I look more lively with tanner skin.

I do have a slight envy for those who are super-pale, because y'all will probably end up with much less wrinkles than those who tan.

I have super pale skin and used to be really paranoid about it bc I was pale with long hair and my friends would make fun of me and say I look like the girl from the ring/grudge ;--; But now I don't mind at all lol

imo people generally will favor lightskinned people over darkskin - not always, but i notice this as a lightskin vietnamese person. a lot of my darker asian friends often comment how they wish they were pale like me, and i feel bad bc they should love their skincolor.

a lot of darkskinned girls hate their skin color from what ive noticed. hell, ive even talked to someone on here who hated how black she was. tried telling her she was beautiful no matter her skin.

a lot of skin lightening objects are advertised in countries such as india to darker girls as well so like :/ i dont know how people dont think lighter skin isnt praised in this world. especially when people think the darker you are, the stupider/poorer you are...
