The Thirteenth Curse
Magic, Mind, Monster, Mountebank—these were the names of the terrifying tents of last year's carnival. Now the return of the Haunted Carnival has introduced the Macabre tent. Five morbidly matching tents that all start with the 13th letter of the alphabet, the spookiest letter of all, the letter M.
Meanwhile, some of our community representatives were tasked with creating and naming yet another tent for our Haunted Carnival. After two rounds of voting, they narrowly decided on the name of our newest tent: Wix Well. Some will argue that the letter W is in fact an upside-down M, but this argument did not satisfy the angry spirits who have now promised to unleash their vengeance on The Bell Tree for this horrific deviation.
How To Play
Malevolent spirits have cursed the forums. Every night, one word that's present in any post across the entire forum will be M-ified. For example, if the selected word of the day is "animal," any post that contains "animal crossing" will appear as "manimal crossing" instead. It will revert to normal when the next word is chosen the following night. This will happen every night until Halloween.
Make a nomination of a word by posting it in this thread. React to your favorite nominated words. The word with the highest number of reactions will be selected. Please keep your nominations appropriate and refrain from suggesting simple words such as "the." If your word isn't selected, feel free to nominate it again on another day.
