Finished Tengoku Daimakyou (Heavenly Delusion), I think it's the kind of anime you need to read the manga first because just one season is not enough to understand the full story. The story was intriguing but I wish there were more monsters and less nudity, although sometimes necessary to the story. When I was watching anime every day I was not paying attention to fanservice or tropes, but then I took a break and now it's all I see lol. Also, I had forgotten that most of anime have no real end and manga can goes on for decades, so yeah...I will need a second season I think.

I was not sure of what to watch next, I had bookmarked a bunch and finally started something not on my list (typical) called Dorohedoro. Ooh..more my style I think, just watched one episode but I love it. So far.

Yeah it seems like the Heavenly Delusion manga has answered most questions by this point, while the anime just felt like it ended abruptly. I agree and I'm not sure why it seems like we can't have a good anime story these days without some unnecessary nudity. But yeah it was a pretty cool series overall, the setting and characters are interesting, and I like the art especially some of those weird hiruko designs. Dorohedoro is another one I've heard good things about and been meaning to watch, I'll keep that in mind the next time I feel like picking up something new.

Finished Dorohedoro, it's gore but funny at the same time. The city and humor reminds me a bit of Blood Blockade Battlefront. Now waiting for the next season...May start Hell Girl later tonight or another? Undecided.

I’m stoked about Ao Ashi getting a second season. I watched the first season over a year ago and made peace with the fact that we would never get a second season. This news made my day.

I’m not sure when it’s airing, but I’m definitely watching when it does. I’ll have to rewatch the first season before then for a refresher.

Now that Nextflix has rights to season one of Apothecary Diaries I can finally watch it. I’m 15 episodes in and like the show. I think that it is worth its hype.

Once I’m done with this one, I’ll watch Frieren next; and hopefully finish June with Ya Boy Kongming and Endo and Kobayashi’s Live Commentary (on HiDive).

With that said, I’m super excited for Summer 2025’s lineup.

I started watching Naruto again for the heck of it. It's been nice. I do kind of skip a few parts that are dragged out unnecessarily, but have watched the majority of the scenes. I'm at the chunin exams arc with the forest of death.

So I've been watching Naruto again. I already passed the part where they're forced to take a test but cheat and not get caught. First time watching years ago I just rolled with it, but how did Tenten not get caught with a big butt mirror on the ceiling, or Gaara with his sandeye ball just randomly levitating like an eldritch abomination?

I can get Sasuke, Neji, and Hinata not getting caught, but the others don't make any sense if you think about it lmao.

Also the teacher said you start off with 10 points and if you answer one wrong you lose a point. So just don't take the test? Naruto knew what was up.

edit at 7:18 pm: OK! i feel like this is the same kinda deal as it was with figuring out whether canal's voice had lina's voice... on 2nd hearing in same episode.. episode 1, it doesn't sound too bad, after all in fact, i think i like her english voice after all

i'll prefer megumi hayashibara ''canal'' best, though i think
