[Southern Hemisphere] Mushrooms already available

Today I found two kinds of mushrooms (I don't know if there's more): skinny and round. However, I saw very few balloons today - I don't know if the weather affects the spawn rate, but it's being raining heavily all day long, with some thunderstorms. That means I also haven't gotten any diy recipe relate to mushrooms (unfortunately).

Anyone else found mushrooms today? And, what about diy recipes? Anything?

Do you remember which recipes you got? I really want to use that log stool with mushrooms attached to it. I'm also curious about how that mushroom partition looks like.

I got elegant and flat mushrooms asides from the two you found, plus dug up rare mushrooms too! For DIYs so far I got a wreath from Isabelle, and a mushroom wand and partition DIYs from balloons.

Wait, so there's mushrooms that you have to dig up from the underground? That's new (I think)! Also, Isabelle didn't give me anything; I talked to her as soon as I started the game to see if the evaluation changed (because i moved a building and added another staircase), and she didn't even mention anything related to mushrooms.

I think it was in New Leaf too, sometimes you could dig up mushrooms! And Isabelle gave me the DIY during her log in announcement, I think she'll give it to you randomly during this season

As far as i know, yes. It's seasonal, and we're approaching winter.

I believe mushroom season in the north will be in October

Gotta be honest, I feel pretty disappointed whenever I get a wand recipe. I never use wands, didn't really enjoy the feature, so for me it's useless.

I'm very interested in pieces that can be used as external furniture, especially if they look more like something that's wasn't made by anyone, and is just part of nature.

Yeah, same. I just personally don't have favorite outfits yet to use a wand. I'm still collecting and I like to change it up.

The nice thing about the mushroom wand, you can customize it. So it can be the red spotted one or a purple poison one, etc.

I put out the table and it looks pretty cool. I customized it to the weird green color. I like that they're natural looking.

The log stool with mushrooms I've mentioned earlier in the thread can also be customized, each version being one kind of mushroom. One of them is the red spotted one (Amanita Muscaria). There's another that kinda resembles a ****ake.
