I don't think it's the update... since they DID say the 3rd

It's the 3rd for them now. It takes a bit, but the last few times we got the update as well on their time.

First the servers are worked on then the update goes live. It can take 10 to 30 minutes for it to post. It's easier for Nintendo do to it from Japan's time since it is developed and pushed out through there.
