I went to Phantom yesterday and hands down, that was the prettiest acnl town I've ever visited! Even the villagers are awesome! Made me realize that I still have a lot to do in my town

going to Candyland in a moment.
edit: it says there isn't a town at that address(5300-5153-0427)
for mine, I need some advice on what PWP to put at the very top right where the rice rack is(there used to be a zen bell there and I'm putting a bench between the 2 pink cosmos), how to improve Yukari's backroom, and how to turn Marisa's right room into a love hotel.
updated during rain
Thanks, and you guessed right. It's based on Touhou.Review of Gensokyo
Well, I started off by looking at your town layout and I have to say I love the landscape of the town.
My first impression of the town was that it was zen themed but after about 20 seconds of wandering,
it had come to my attention that it was surely a Touhou themed town.
I thought I'd first start by inquiring the questions you had about the town and asked for suggestions.
My first trip over to the very top right corner of the town. The paths are nicely chosen and placed though I don't see the appeal in walking completely horizontally only to be greeted with a rack of rice.
Personally, I'd put a bench here (preferably log or metal) and line the edges around it with flowers of any choice really. It seems like a nice corner to just chill. a picnic blanket would also work here! Though I've seen that you already have one of those, very cute personal touch.
Walking down to the southern part of town, I had stumbled upon a rather dead looking area.
The dramatic shift in scenery was rather surprising and kept me on my toes for what was next.
Visiting the houses was a delight, each house is decorated uniquely and has character and personality in every room.
About Marisa's right room which you.. ahem.. planned to be a Love Hotel. I'd probably just recommend splitting the room
into sections and putting beds in each one coupled with a mini-table with chocolate or other items of interest ( ͡? ͜ʖ ͡?) while seperating them off with screens.
As for Yukari's backroom, Unforunately I really don't know what to do with that room.. I'm unsure of what theme you were going for but it seemed to have been along the lines of a mountain campsite/living space. My favorite room was probably Reimu's left room, I really dig the furniture placement there ♥
My ending notes for this dream would be to think about flower arrangments. I noticed you had pretty much ALL your flowers on the beach set randomly. I can see the appeal in this and how people think it's nice but I don't really see the appeal.
Unless of course, this was on purpose and you're planning to use those flowers at a later time in which case, keep up the good work and I hope to see more of this town updated in the future ♪
Anyway, for the next person down.
Hope you have a wonderful dream of my town, Bellocan.
Dream address is in my sig but just in case, here it is: 5000-5241-0999
Have fun ~ ♥
Trying this again...to the person that'll review my town! i'd really like input on where to start placing bushes, i can't think of any places that look decent enough! i'd also like to know if my paths work for my town, which police station i should choose, and what you think could replace my lighthouse! (the lighthouse is getting demolished tomorrow) thank you~ DA is in my sig btw!
Thanks, and you guessed right. It's based on Touhou.
I already plan to put a bench at the top right, the rack of rice is just keeping villagers from moving there
and no, the beach has no order; it's just my flower bank
Trying this again...

Town:
Likes:
-rain
-nice path
Dislikes:
-big expanses of nothing
-undeveloped
Player Homes:
Marissa's House
-main and right room: carpets don't match rest of their rooms
-main: random jingle piano
-left room: nice, but a little plain; jukebox does not match
-basement: interesting, but again, plain
-2nd floor: again, nice but plain
Harper's house:
needs expanding
Suggestions:
-path is nice, but placement needs to be more deliberate and helpful. remember that paths lead players, so something like going from the right-most bridge to ReTail doesn't take longer than it should
*have a path going between Rudy and Molly's houses to Chrissy and Francince's houses
-I don't know what to replace the lighthouse with since I don't know what kind of vibe you're going for
-place bushes around paths or use them, trees, and flower to create pseudo-paths
Marissa's house
-matching carpet's in main and right rooms
-replace jukebox in left room with phonograph
Final Thoughts:
-I see a lot of potential, but very little fulfilled. It's still too much of a blank slate to suggest anything because you don't seem to have taken the town in any direction at all. If I were you, I'd go dreaming and see what strikes your fancy and gets those creative juices flowing.

I visited the town of Candylnd. The town name didnt really fit, since I didn't see the sweets exterior/sweets furniture anywhere. :]
I liked the throwing beans and the umbrella you put out, but everything to pick up was super overwhelming.
The paths are cute, but really oddly-placed. they cut through the plaza and look strange.
The toy tires PWP is in a very odd place? It looks pretty strange there. The villagers were very cute and had their houses in very nice spots. I liked how Francine and Crissy were right next to each other.
The houses looked unfinished, especially the one with only a piano? but you have a very cute town, and i love all the hybrids, even if some of them are kinda mixed in so it looks weird. :]
[my town is also a work in progress, but i'd love some feedback.]
(just to clarify) i didn't skip over anyone? i responded to your review i think. if i did in fact skip over someone, please let me know so i can to do the review!
I posted a review of Gensokyo.
Yukari then posted a review of Candylnd.
You then responded to a their review of your town.
Therefore skipping/drowning out my town the first time and having Kanto do another review your town.
@cheezy I think Darryn was just making the point to try not to skip over reviews. Also I'm pretty sure you went to a very old version of my town, as I'm just about done cycling Pierce back after losing him.
I'll do a review of Bellocan right now and then I think we'll be all caught up
looking back i'm pretty sure this is what happened: i posted a review, then you couldn't post a review of my town because the DA was incorrect, then darryn posted a review of your town, then i responded to your review of my town, then kanto posted a review of my town, which led to me skipping over darryn which i don't know if i understand correctly? i don't intend to skip reviews at all, i don't really like that and would you like me to go to your DA once it's updated again? i'm sure it'd be more helpful haha
