PSA: It doesn't always take 2 weeks between villagers asking to move out...

Not 100% sure if I did something to affect this, but I'd previously read that if a villager tells you they want to move, and you let them, it would take 2 weeks before another villager would tell you they're leaving. This wasn't the case for me.

4 days ago Tammi told me she wanted to leave, and I let her. Today, Reneigh told me she wanted to leave. I don't time travel and hadn't used any amiibo cards, so not sure how this happened?

The original source for this info (which I trusted) said after numerous tests this is the pattern villagers follow.

Not sure if anybody else thought the same thing, so I thought I'd share.

I've noticed that it takes awhile for a villager to ask to leave, but if someone has just asked to leave & you say no, a new villager will ask to move out every few days until you say yes to someone.

Well, not gonna lie, up until this happened I'd only had about 3 move out attempts during my entire play, so I thought 'yeah, 2 weeks sounds about right.'

I've noticed that it takes awhile for a villager to ask to leave, but if someone has just asked to leave & you say no, a new villager will ask to move out every few days until you say yes to someone.

That behavior I'm used to from New Leaf, but this time around I actually sent Tammi packing and Reneigh still asked.

And it had nothing at all to do with the campsite right? These were both natural thought-bubble processes? Interesting!

I have had two move-outs in rapid succession but that's because the first one was booted out by a (non-amiibo) camper so I guess it doesn't count. But it is pretty telling how much we really think we've nailed down about the game and then like 2 months in we learn it's not actually the case. I felt that way reading the latest datamine thread. There's so much we could still be wrong on lol

Yours, if true, sounds like a glitch, similar to people reporting their most recent villager asking to move.
