Mine is the horse mackerel, with the sea bass being #2, and the black bass being #3.
I know sea bass hate has literally became a meme in the Animal Crossing Community, but after careful consideration, I think the horse mackerel deserves my #1 spot even more. They sell for even less than a black bass and a sea bass, only selling for a mere 150 bells, while the two bass sell for 400 bells. And because I caught like 5654435435432432 of them before I finally caught a barreleye (which is my #2 most LOVED fish).
Sea bass still secures it's place as every AC players most hated fish. The sea bass has literally been a joke since the first AC game came out, and it's legacy shall go on until the end of time. At this point, I'm just asking C.J. to make me like a million sea bass sculptures so I can scatter them around my island as a troll. My brother is going to have a heart attack after this, wish me luck.

it was sea bass but recently i found fin island and i imagined going back to my island with my pockets full of sharks
but i ended up going back with just suckerfish and ocean sunfish
i can't stay mad at the ocean sunfish because they're so funny looking lol
The sea bass and black bass when I'm doing my seasonal fishing, but also the pier fish just because of the sheer ridiculous amounts of time and bait it can take for any of them to spawn.
Absolutely the loaches and black bass. I'm trained out of fishing in my river at this point, lmao.
The carp, too.
Sea bass are so memey to me that I don't even get annoyed. They are, at this point, beyond expected. Goodness knows how many I've sold over the years for pocket change.
