Meaning behind your town name?

Grimsby because obscure little mermaid reference :D

Also, it sounds like a town to me :3 (and I'm pretty sure it is in England and Canada)

Hah! Grimsby is about a 20 min drive from where I live irl! I have family who live there :) (Ontario btw)

Starveil, for two reasons mainly, the first was because I wanted another "Star" named town and secondly, because I wanted to make a starry path to 'veil' my town (which I have did).

Bree: Stolen from LOTR. But it was the name I chose for my first town in 2002. Since then, I've never had another name, so why change it now!~

my town is called Mercier. i named it after an orchard in the mountains that me and my family go to every year to pick apples. it's just always so quaint and homey when we go up there and i always have a good time, which is the same way i feel about animal crossing too. it would have been perfect if my town fruit was apples! but i got peaches and i live in georgia so it works out pretty well i guess lol

My town, Keystone, is named after the town that my favorite comic book character originates from. :'D It's a really basic name though so nobody gets it, although it doesn't help that I have no reference to its origin in my town.
