Meaning behind your town name?

My town name is Leafre which was a town in Maplestory that I would usually screw around it haha ^_^

My town is named Aurora because I like the name Aurora. :P I also like the Aurora Borealis. I've used this name for other things before.

My town name is Nonary. It's from a game called Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors. This game means everything to me.

Toyonaka- got tired of my old town name and mayor- Mayor Leo; Polaris- so I wanted to use my middle name- Atsuya- as my mayor. I chose Toyonaka since it matches the name since it's Japanese, and my mom was born and raised in Toyonaka, Osaka, Japan. And this name isn't overly used so it was appropriate.

Since you like auroras so much, I know a song thats appropriate for auroras, but you'll probably get bored out by the song.

Annachie is a name taken from one of my favourite old folk songs, Annachie Gordon. It's about a girl who is in love with Annachie, but she's forced to marry a rich man instead

edit: i know it's my username, but it's also my town name

I restarted my town, but Freeside came from Fallout: New Vegas.

My new town name is Fableton, which comes from the comic Fables and The Wolf Among Us. I didn't have enough room to put in Fabletown, so I left the "w" out. Definitely going to make it fairytale themed.

Qo'noS is the name of the Klingon home world in Star Trek (yes,I am a nerd aha). It was the name of my first ACNL town and I liked it a lot so I chose it again.

I love the Japanese harajuku/lolita fashion so much and wish I had the confidence to wear it in real life on a daily basis. I'm pretty much just letting my town express myself the way I can't in real life. Also there's the fact that Harajuku is a part of Japan in which people wearing that kind of fashion are found to hang around. It's also super cute when I make a mule character for plot resetting and the monkey announces that the train is arriving in "Harajuku Station" because it's a real thing.

My town is in no way made or decorated to look like the area though, the name is just there because it's something I really like fashion-wise, it's overall a cute word and there's just that added bonus that it's a real part of Japan.

My place is called T Maple
T stands for my real name Tiam
And maple because I like the word and villager

I wish I would have put more thought into my town name. Haha! I was just so excited, we went to the midnight release and I was just so excited to get started on it. I had a poultry magazine sitting on my end table with an Emden goose on the cover so I named my town Goosey. Yikes...

I'm not really sure why I named my town Chestnut, I think I just wanted something simple and adorable that I would still like months later (and I still do!) Also, there is a street name in my irl town that is named Chestnut and I always thought it was the most lovely thing. c:

Grimsby because obscure little mermaid reference :D

Also, it sounds like a town to me :3 (and I'm pretty sure it is in England and Canada)

Hitosaya because I'm Madoka-loving trash and HitoSaya is my OTP. I am the queen of obscure pairings tbh

My town is called Ruatha after one of the most important towns in a book series called Dragon Riders of Pern. I want to change my town flag to fit but I have the art skill of a six year old.
