How do you complete the museum with mystery islands doe? Can Redd appear on a mystery island?

I think they mean that they use NMT to pay people for real paintings. Or that was my understanding of it. (Correct me if I'm wrong!)

I think that NMTs as a currency aren't too bad, but I like IGB and TBT much more. I like that they have recently almost halved in value and they still seem to be dropping. I have a decent stack in storage in my house just for trading and such that I don't actually use at all. I also very rarely go on mystery island tours, as they don't really have anything to offer me at the moment. Technically you could say the opportunity cost of trading a NMT is 240k bells because that's the value of a whole inventory of tarantulas going to Flick.

Why can't we use the ABD on someone else's island? That would make the whole back and forth argument moot and would be a big quality of life adjustment for large volume traders.
