I didn't know if there was a thread for this, forgive me.
But does anyone know how to make villagers move out faster? There's a few I want to get to move soon.

Saving & quitting then reloading is a better way to get pings than diving and waiting for several minutes.

It is best not to talk to the villager that you want to move out when trying to move out IMO. Some people think being best friends with the villager will get them to move faster.

It doesn't matter how often you talk to a villager. It's completely random which one will ask to move out, and they all have an equal chance of being the mover, except for the most recent villager who moved in.

Just my experience: ignoring them doesn't work. You have to actually engage them a lot and become their "best friend." Have you noticed that the villager you love is constantly asking to move while the ones you don't like never ask? My theory is that the game is rigged so that when a villager has reached high levels of friendship with you, he's sort of reached his "goal" and wants to move on. So as much as you hate it, I found that becoming the villager's best friend will get them to budge.

Good luck! Unwanted villagers are a pain.

^ That always worked for me. As soon as you're getting on a friendly level they may ping you that they wanna move out. It's kinda like a paradox..be their friend in order to get them to want to move out. There's also a time-travelling trick to get villagers to ping you that they wanna move out. You can google it ^_^
