How many of your villagers are permanent?

9 out of my 10 are permanent as of today I’m keeping that last slot open to just explore and hopefully find a super underrated villager that I love!

It is like a dream of mine to have an island of sheep but I’m too attached to some of my others. I do have two sheep: curlos and Stella who are staying with me forever as well as flip, pinky, and del who I really like

As of now, 9/10 are confirmed permanent unless some very big paradigm shifts happen. The only villager I’m waiting to let go of is Spork (to be replaced permanently by Apollo), but I’m waiting to get his framed photo first. Going on a week now of foreign fruit presents and no photo yet...

At the moment, everyone. I get so attached to them, even if I was on the fence about someone with time I become use to seeing their face everyday and won't be able to imagine my island without them!

Probably about 8/10? I'm not ditching any until i get their pictures but i want a cranky and a jock in my town as well. Prob kid catt and apollo....as for who to replace? I'm not sure....Molly will probably be here non-permanently, even though I do like her. Chrissy I'm too attached to to give up, and I want Francine as well at some point....so i guess that means about 7/10 are really permanent! I'll probably give Audie, Tangy, and Molly away at some point after I've gotten their pics (And hopefully scored one of those 3 I want to balance out the town)

Five so far. Colton, Zucker, Bam, Rowan, and Marshal are permanent.

I was planning on keeping Bruce, but I'm thinking about switching him out for Rooney instead. I had Rooney in New Leaf for a bit and liked him, but I ended up getting rid of him because I already had Walt. I also had Bruce for a lot longer in New Leaf, so I'm probably gonna give Rooney a chance this time.

Monique, Audie, Phoebe, and Margie are going.

I guess all of them are permanent for me! I don't think I can let go of anyone~

I really do hope we get the option to have an extra villager though ;~; I'd love to experience more of them!

I haven't decided on who I want as my final cast of villagers, so the answer is zero. I'm more inclined to keep certain villagers over others (e.g. I'll probably keep Rosie and Beau, but I'm less likely to keep Julian, Rudy, or Octavian), but I really just haven't worked out who I want to keep on my island permanently. In New Leaf, I kept a permanent cast because I hated plot resetting with a burning passion; since I don't have to worry about that this game, I have put essentially zero effort into deciding who I want to stay and who I want to go.

That being said, I like the ten villagers I have currently. It's just that I could very much see myself switching it up in the future.

You can come over sometime and visit them all! They love company and I really like to share them~

Generally, I like to rotate villagers from time to time. I grow attached to most of them anyway. In particular, if a particular villager requests to move multiple times, I feel inclined to let them go. I feel I could always get them back at some point through amiibo cards (if I really regretted letting them go).

However, the villagers introduced in NH don't have cards yet, so it feels more permament if I would let one go...
I have been quite lucky with having had Raymond as my first campsite visitor and finding Audie and Sherb while island hopping, and adopting Dom from someone on the forums here. I don't think I can stomach any of those 4 moving right now.
