How many of your villagers are permanent?

Most of mine at this point are permanent. I might switch out Celia for a different normal villager (maybe melba or lily) and I might switch out julia for a different snooty bit I still haven't decided yet. I have both of their Amiibos so I can always invite them back! I also just moved Pudge in but if his dialogue is too similar to Zucker's I may have to let him go. I think I'm cool with kyle staying but I do like Ken as well. Everyone else on my island (Zucker, bill, deirdre, pate, lobo, flora) is staying put!
 
There's so many animals I really like in this game, so for me it's hard to keep the same 10 for too long. I really wish we could have a few more villagers (I don't have a second human, so let me use that slot for an 11th animal pls).
I use to have an all cats island, but latley i've been finding my self missing my favourite non cat villagers. So i've decided on having 5 cats who i'll never replace and then 5 i'll change around alot. My 5 cats being: Punchy, Bob, Lolly, Kabuki and Rudy.
 
4 for me, Bob, Raymond, Kabuki and Sherb. The other, I love them very much but I won't stop them for discovering new horizons.
 
Right now the only ones I am sure of staying on forever are: Dom, Stiches, Sherb, and Marshal.
Ones I like but I want to try other villagers so I might switch them out are: Ketchup, Chief, Raymond, Marina, Twiggy, and Bunnie.
The ones that I would like to have to see if I would want them to stay forever are: Rudy, Genji, Felicity, Butch, Diana, Judy, Pecan, and there are more but the names are escaping my brain right now LOL.
 
Curlos, flip, pinky and del are honestly fabulous and I never want them to leave
Bangle is moving in soon and I’m excited.
Dotty and Skye are both amazing and I think they will stay for a while
Phoebe is not all that interesting and deli is fine but if someone better comes then he is leaving
Marina is moving out today and I know she is a dreamie but she was never my favorite
 
I go back and forth on this all the time. I really like almost all of my current villagers but I'll probably let some of them leave eventually. As of right now I'd say my permanent villagers are Maple, Sprinkle, Skye, and Dobie. I'm also really fond of Plucky who was one of my starters but I can't decide if I'm going to keep her forever or not.
 
6 of them out of 10 are permanent! Almost there with the dreamies. 🥰

Edit Actually tbh I’m really considering keeping Maple instead of getting Fauna or Ellie. There’s so many cute villagers in this game...I want them all. But anyway I guess 7/10? Idk it’s hard for me to let Maple go now that I think about it...

all of my current residents on the island are permanent! sucks for them they are trapped here on this island with me forever >: ) good luck trying to leave any of you!
 
Right now for sure Diana, fauna, marshal and Raymond *^* cherry probably will stay too since she's my daughter's favorite

I like the other villagers too.. not sure how long before I want new ones though. They are all so cute :love:
 
All of my villagers rn are permanent except maybe peanut as I only really am keeping her for my mom since she likes her a lot
 
Kid Cat, Fauna, and Sherb for sure. Jacques has also found a place in my heart and I’m not sure I could let him go.
Wendy and Cyd are staying at least until I get their photo. Cleo, Tammy, and newcomer Puck are on trial.
Truffles must leave ASAP
