As of right now, my permanent villagers are Puddles, Boots, and (possibly) Elvis. I really like Elvis, but there are other cranky villagers I like too, so not sure. The rest I'm planning to let move after I get their photo, to cycle them through and just keep my faves on as permanents.
Vivian, Audie, Fang, Beau, Zucker, and Colton are the permanents for me. I like the rest of them enough that they might stick around and I'm fine with that... Except I really do want Reneigh and Cleo. Fauna, as well.
All of mine are permanent. Although I'd love to meet more villagers, I'm happy with the idea of these ten little creatures being with me for as long as I am going to play this game. I'm generally a person who prefers to settle on things, constant change just isn't my style and as much as I like the idea of always meeting new villagers in this game, I don't think that it would really make me happy. Maybe one day I'll be okay with exchanging one or two, but that's a big maybe.
About half, and some of the rest I'm considering keeping. Right now Bluebear, Merengue, Apple, and Marina are never leaving, but I'm also considering Raymond, Mint, and Sherb to stay forever too! It's so hard, I want to experience more villagers but I have such a hard time letting go of most of them!
I feel the same way, meeting new villagers keeps the game fresh for me... I think that once I get the pictures I'll slowly let them all go, except for 1 or 2
Goose and Katt make me extremely happy so I see them sticking around for a long time. Someone kindly gifted me Raddle, and he moved in on my birthday, so I see him sticking around too.
My three-year-old son will not allow any one else to leave, so that's that! The only villager we've let go was Marshal, as my son is obsessed with Octavian so I had to track him down!
To be honest, I'm not sure I'd want any of them to leave, either. We've certainly had nobody in the campsite who's tempted me so far...just a rotating cast of nondescript squirrels, cows and pigs!
