How many of your villagers are permanent?

I'm on the same boat, I really like all my villager atm... but I have 3 cranky villagers and 3 smug villagers .-. I might let go of Apollo eventually, but I'm very reluctant on it. I almost feel like getting another game, but I don't think it's worth it t.t
8/10 are for sure atm. I kinda wanna rotate Flurry and Merengue bc I have their amiibos, but I don't really want them at the same time unless they increase the islander limit bc that's one too many normals as I also have Marina. I also am not sure if I wanna keep Fuchsia and get Renee instead, I'm waiting to see if she grows on me.

This is who I have at the moment. And right now, im really happy with all of them and don't plan on getting rid of any of them.
The only one thats up in the air is Sherb.

will let move out but I still love him: Rasher (he was an accidental random move-in, and I want to choose this time)

7 of my villagers are permanent; Rosie, Elvis, Marshal, Sprocket, Stitches, Dom, Bob. My other villagers are Melba, Fauna and Flora. Not 100% sure about them, plus I reaaally want Lily and Judy and I like meeting new villagers.

Only 1/10, and that’s because I traded for Willow and she is my all time absolute favourite. Everyone else is replaceable :3 No but seriously, I like to change up my villager roster from time to time to keep my town feeling fresh. Plus is love meeting villagers I’ve never seen before - even the unconventionally ugly ones.

9 right now. Lucky, Coco, Agnes, Zell, Ruby, Pecan, Raddle, Rasher, and Rodeo. Sadly Tia is a bit like Sherb and Ankha were. Her house is just too colorful/bright to fit in.
Right now, nine of them will likely stay indefinitely. There were a couple that I planned on moving out at some point, but I’ve grown too attached to them, so now I’ll probably keep them. I do have a few too many personality overlaps, which is a little unfortunate, but I think I would miss all of my current villagers if I let any of them move.
I can’t decide who my last villager should be. It’s going to be either a smug or a cranky, as those are the two personalities I’m missing, but I have to pick one, and I’m not sure which one to go for.

Right now, three. Savannah, Camofrog, and Rocco. The other are separated into “I like him/her, so they can stay for a while” and “give me your damn pic so you can move on!”
