How do you feel about new buildings?

I want some new buildings more than anything! I have multiple gaps on my island that I have saved for if/when the Café/Dream Suite/Katrina/Shampoodle/Kick's/etc. come back!

I'd be happy to have more buildings, honestly. I'm kind of disappointed with how few there are. I feel like they handled things strangely, to me. Why does Kicks exist when Able's already sells shoes? Why are there "hairstyle" clothing when we have mirrors? Why doesn't Able's carry Label brand clothing, their own sibling, and instead she has to personally give it to you? Where's Katrina? Where's the Dream Suite?

I can't help but feel that they really wanted to spend another year on this game but had sort of run out of time. Everyone loves to say that this "content rollout" was by design so we couldn't burn out but I think there's a lot of stuff they wanted in before launch, like Redd and diving.

Anyway getting off that soap box:

Yes I want more buildings! No I do not want to go through Dodo Airlines to get to Katrina/The Roost/etc.

yeah!! I think having the ability to travel to other little NPC islands would make a lot of sense and be easy to add to the game

The other day o talked to Harvey and he referred to his island as "actually more of an archipelago" so maybe that's a hint at more islands to come!

I'm super into it ^_^ they don't all have to be huge buildings. They could even just be a 3x3 tent (please Katrina!). I do hope that somehow they'll allow us some extensions for our island. That would be nice. But I'm definitely all for more cute buildings.

I hope they bring back the customization of town hall and maybe some other buildings too. I think that would add a nice unique touch to each island

i’m open to having some more buildings! i currently have,, about 3 spots on my island reserved just in case any buildings get added but anything beyond 3 might be a little hard to make room for aha - in terms of buildings, i’d love for the dream suite and for the roost to be a standalone building again. i believe there was a datamine a while back about the museum gift shop returning and being a standalone building and i think that’s the one thing i don’t like - it’s the museum gift shop so it should be in the museum lmao

I am always ready to add in some new buildings. I am hoping that the Roost is its own building just like it was in New Leaf, because I have this area already picked out for it on my island, but I am also looking forward to the Dream Suite, and if that is its own building as well... then I have the space for it as well.

I have a lot of space around my island's built up area so I'd like a couple more buildings to fill it. I'd like some of my island to feel 'wild' still so I'll keep the big buildings relatively close.

If I have the choice between getting many old NPCs back or making some layout changes, I will definitely go for the buildings!

Kofi is one of the NPCs that will most likely come back and it is said that he will get a room in the museum again, so he wouldn't need a complete building. Luna and the Dream Suite will probably also come back and she will probably need a building, but let's be real, I will gladly give up those couple of squares to visit hundreds of islands. Maybe it will be even optional like in New Leaf.

I'm pretty excited. I've had a space set aside on my 'main street' in anticipation of a cafe for awhile (although it may end up swapping spots with Nook's). I'm not 100% sure where I'll put the Dream Suite yet but I'm sure I can move stuff around. As long as there aren't *so* many new buildings that I don't have enough space to decorate outside (which would seem...very odd considering it's the first time we can decorate outside this way!), I'm pleased.

Now if only I could get my hybrids to grow so I have space for veggie patches....

I definitely have room for them and hope we do get some more buildings but they would have to go on a higher tier which is fine by me. If we got a Café and Luna's Dream Suite, I'd be so happy with that!!

I do hope Katrina makes a return at some point too, and Queen Gracie.

Very excited for the possibility of new buildings. I have a lot of extra space near my "town square" that I've been saving just for potential new buildings like the cafe or the dream suite.

I think it would be great! Yes I might have to switch some stuff around on my island but I'm down for that, some change can be good

Well hopefully there's at least a separate building for Brewster. I would love it if they added one for Leif, or maybe expanded the Able Sisters' building to include Label and Kicks, but I honestly can't see that happening. I feel like Label will get some sort of change soon but who knows. Maybe there will be a building to also incorporate Dr. Shrunk, or the Dream Suite? There are so many possibilities. I wouldn't want like 10 new buildings but I wouldn't mind 2 or three. I especially (mainly) want a cafe so that I can put it on the beachside.
