Hosting Tier List: Events Worth Hosting (Updated 5/20)

I made this list for my friends who are new so they have an idea of what events are worth hosting. I made it pretty quickly so feel free to make suggestions for change!

Method: no true science here, just based on what events I feel are popular (number of thread replies, queue length, fast replies)

Spoiler: S-tier (25+ queue length, very fast replies, visitors willing to pay entry fee)

• Turnips 600+
• Turnips 500+
• Meteor showers with Celeste
• Redd*

*obviously Redd wouldn't have a 25+ queue, but he is extremely popular even when he's selling fake art

Spoiler: A-tier (10+ queue length, fast replies)

• Turnips 400+
• Meteor showers without Celeste
• Celeste without meteor showers
• Villager Crafting
  • Hyacinth lamp
  • Ironwood - dresser, cupboard, low table
  • Cutting board
  • Infused-water dispenser
  • Flower-related DIYs (crowns, wreaths, especially ones with hybrid flowers)
• Saharah (café-curtain wallpaper, cloud flooring)
• Cataloging full sets

Spoiler: B-tier (5-10 queue length)

• Turnips 300+
• Ables – crown or royal crown
• Villager crafting
  • Gold DIYs (lucky gold cat, gold screen wall, golden seat, gold bars, etc.)
  • Iron garden - bench, table, chair
  • Garden bench
  • Plain wooden shop sign
  • Signpost
  • Angled signpost
• Saharah – variable depending on wallpaper, flooring, and rugs
• Southern hemisphere fishing and bug catching
• Crafting services
• Time travel hosting - different seasons, cherry blossom season, holidays, etc.

Is the wallpaper and flooring really the same for visitors?

made me giggle, because these are the items i want so bad from her haha
but yeah i thought visitors get different items?

To my knowledge, the mysterious wallpaper and flooring purchased with bells are the same for visitors. However, the wallpaper and flooring you get from exchanging tickets are completely random.

"The wallpaper and flooring purchased with bells will be the same across players purchasing from Saharah visiting the same island, but the Mysterious Wallpaper and Flooring obtained from exchanging tickets will be randomized."

That's a good point, I did feel like flower DIYs were becoming more popular. Do you think I should bump up the flower DIYs?

I bumped them up to A tier! Thank you both for your input I feel like I'm still missing some major DIYs, can you think of anything else?
