Hiking Trip (Evergreen and The Poliwags Cabins)

(please excuse the rampant time travelling :v)

Alright so me and the boys were sent on a military trip (explains the military drip) to an undisclosed radioactive wasteland in Europe. We got a propane stove to cook, a single sleeping bag because the other two died from radiation exposure, a beacon torch to let us know where camp is in case we wander too far off, binoculars (Telescope) to observe how to radiation effects the wildlife in the area, and a backpack to carry food rations in.

When i go camping, I'm there for the views and the vibes, I'm not much of a hiker or explorer! My camping outfit is just a camouflage outfit as that is what my family tends to wear camping. I have my tent for a nice place to sleep, but I also have a hammock for a nice place to nap during the day outside. I brought two light sources with me- a floor lantern to act as my primary light, but also some string lights for the vibes and ambiance. Finally, I'm really into the stars (and northern lights), so I brought my telescope for some sky watching!

I saw the leaf mask and immediately thought ‐ Korok!

Journal Entry #19,

It’s been almost three weeks since camp began, and it’s nearly coming to a close. I’ll be sad to see camp end, but I’ll have all these wonderful memories I made with so many new friends to take with me when I go! In the mean time, I found a quiet little clearing outside the camping ground the other day. I don’t know how I hadn’t noticed it before, there’s even a signpost that points back in the direction of camp. So it clearly must be part of the property. The river is full of lively salmon, so I thought it would be great to get my fishing gear and catch some for dinner later. I got a big freezer full, so I hope the other campers like salmon! Fishermen first though, so I cooked up a couple for myself on the bonfire I made to eat before going back. There was even a log for me to plop down on while I ate. I hope I get to come back to camp Bell Tree someday.

I went to the dark sky reserve camping, purely so I could see the stars. I wanted to wear something comfy, so I chose shorts and a shirt.
I just HAD to take the telescope to see the planets, but the hammock comes in very handy to watch the shooting stars without hurting your neck. As much as I'd love to sleep out under the stars, I brought a tent along, as it gets cold at night. This is also why I decided to bring my campfire cookware, as it's nice to make some tea over it to warm up. I also took along my tiki torch for a bit of light when I wasn't stargazing. What a perfect trip!

This is great!

I’m hiking in Jurassic Park! I donned my proper dino explorer outfit (including my trusty x-ray *and* night vision goggles), and when I checked my map, I saw I was on Triceratops Trail! I hope I find one! If I do, I came prepared. I brought my decoy dinosaur if times get tough (it’s totally not a dinosaur toy), my favorite oil lamp to light the way, my dinosaur caller (shell speaker), all of my books, and, of course, my dog Belly to sniff out the way! 🦕 🦖

On my camping trip into a misty forest I brought: a cot to sleep on since I sleep horribly on the ground, a cooler full of snacks and drinks so I don't starve since I'm not much of a hunter or scavenger, a bike to travel around the area since it's mostly flat terrain and I love going on nature bike rides, a lantern since I'm not a huge fan of the dark especially outside at night, and a portable radio so I can listen to some tunes and the weather reports. For my outfit I just threw on some sweatpants and a hoodie with my Poliwag hat and rain boots.

For my hiking trip I decided to go to the top of a hill and have an evening picnic, watching the fireworks at night! I brought a radio and tambourine to play some music with my friends, a glow stick for my glow stick dance party, and a telescope to get a beautiful look at the fireworks and stars! My picnic set is important for having something to eat! To get up the hill I chose to wear my favorite tevas! They're flexible and comfortable, like my shorts. I'm going to have a lovely time watching the magic in the sky!

unfortunately it was storming pretty bad during my trip! luckily i packed my petal parasol just in case. i also brought along a lantern since it’ll be pretty dark especially during a storm. my camping cot is very comfortable to lay on, but if i want to be extra cozy of course i brought my tent to keep me warm & safe from the rain. i also had to bring along my baby bear! i never leave anywhere without him. for my outfit i decided to put on my yellow overall dress, a yellow do-rag to match & my yellow rain boots to protect my feet from getting soaked!

I just went for a standard hike in the woods. I'm wearing a thin but long-sleeved shirt to keep the bugs off, a hat to protect from the sun, sturdy pants and a backpack to carry everything in, and good hiking shoes. The five items I brought are a water bottle (slightly smaller than the one in game but not by much), some nice healthy snacks to keep me fed without weighing me down, a light source, and a space jacket in case the weather turns cold.

May be a cartoon of 1 person

I'm questionably ready to go camping!

Even though it's so muggy here in Japan it's best I wear long sleeves and pants because of how easily I burn, plus a wide-brim hat. The clothing is loose though so keeping the sun off of me will keep me cool. I tried to make my outfit fairly close to what I'd wear in real life like my sneakers.

For my items, I thought about things I have prepared (or am planning to get) in case of a natural disaster. A couple years ago or so there was actually a big storm that left me to "camp" in my hot apartment for a couple of days! Since I haven't actually camped in a while I figured this experience would be somewhat close.

One item I'd make sure to bring is a hand crank radio/generator. I learned the hard way that it's hard to get used to being stuck without electricity. With this, I can charge my phone so I can set alarms and what not. Even if I don't have cell service (like after the disaster) they're still good to have juice in. I'd make sure to bring plenty of food and water because it's scary when you don't have access to water and, y' know, gotta eat! And I like those portable cookers so I might learn how to use one myself. I'd also like a hand held fan for the sake of comfort. Things get hot! And finally, whatever book I'm reading at the time I'd bring along to keep me entertained (although depending on who I go with I might switch that out for some board/card games).

I hope I followed the rules

I geared myself up with a traveler’s backpack to carry my necessaries, patched knee pants because I’m not worried about them getting dirty, moccasin boots because they’re the most comfortable shoes, tulip hat to keep the sun off of my face and a folk shirt which is perfect for cool summer nights. I brought a delicious picnic to start our camping trip out right - we need tons of energy for biking and fishing! I had to bring my mountain bike so I can get to all the sweet fishing spots and my trusty fishing pole is a must so I can catch tons of fish. I built a huge bonfire to roast marshmallows and the fish I cau and I’m going to sleep outdoors in my sleeping bag so I can stare up at the stars before I fall asleep.

Hi there! Your items need to be something you would bring with you, rather than what is already there. You should also mention a sentence about your outfit! Please resubmit by reposting in this thread.

I wanted to get into the fishing spirit by wearing my trusty fishing tee, but I still also wanted to be cute (so hair bows all the way!). I even brought a folding chair and my wildlife book to record the different bugs and fish I spot while we camp at the clearing tonight. The small moments like this I cherish a lot, and it makes hope I get to come back to camp Bell Tree someday.

My outfit is very intuitive... I think, at least! I'm wearing my brightest wet suit so that I won't get shot by hunters AND I can scare off dangerous predators. My heart bobbles are there so that if anyone friendly is around in the woods (cryptids please interact) realize I am open for conversation. My glasses give the idea that I am constantly awake so that no animals will sneak up on me while I am asleep. And my boots? Well, they're fluffy and warm.. Which is good, because I don't have a tent!

My objects are also simple!

I brought Carl, my snapping turtle, as a defensive system and as company. To feed both Carl and myself, I brought a fishing road and a fish-drying-rack. Lately we've only gotten dried octopus though.... And for drinks, a cooler filled with sodas! And to ensure a shelter after we're done fishing. . . A handy dandy amount of tools! We're going to be making our own shelter!

@dizzy bone fixed it! ty for letting me know :)

I don't really like "roughing" it, so if I were to go hiking/camping, it would definitely be "glamping". I would find a location with some lovely hot springs, which would only require a short walk to arrive at, ideally with gorgeous views. A comfortable hammock to relax on is a must. And one must stay hydrated, so a water cooler infused with expensive fruits is a must-have and a fancy tropical coconut to sip it from. Also, why should we eat canned or dehydrated food on this trip? Someone will bring a whole oven. Not me, of course; I'll hire someone to cater the food and bring that up for me. And Heavens forbid I look like I went outside and develop a tan! A parasol, a wide brimmed hat, and sparkling sunglasses paired with other fashionable ath-leisure wear are also prerequisites for this trip.

I'm going camping out in the countryside! But not all is ordinary. I'm an entomologist, so my first priority is to keep records of all the creepy crawlies I may encounter here! This time, my target is the butterfly species.
Keeping up a bright environment is extremely important - I myself also must dress as flowery and flashy as possible to attract these fascinating little creatures. (Maybe with the wings, they'll accept me as one of their own...)
It's crucial to bring a tent to sleep in and a campfire setup with some food to cook so I can last at least a few days in this environment before calling it quits. The bloom of flowers I've got with me not only helps attract them with its vivid colours, it's there as a snack for them to feast on so I can analyse their behaviour closely. I've also brought a small critter enclosure if I want an extra personal peek! The book I have is the one and only Critterpedia, which will help me easily pinpoint what variant I'm studying to understand them better.
