They better. Sick and tired of this bill.
Honestly, how much do you even know about the Bill? Please, if its so horrible and going to destroy America or whatever the *censored.3.0* else, tell me what it does and why its so bad.

I don't see you contributing to this conversation.
And I'm not going to, because I don't talk about subjects I don't know *censored.2.0* about and pretend like I do.

That it will plunge us further into debt? That it will encourage laziness because some don't work and just want a free handout? That all it will do is add more money to the pockets of those "elected to represent the American people"? That taxes will go up because of this bill?

Last time I checked, it was a little bit difficult for the 1 in 10 unemployed Americans to find jobs. People aren't just sitting on the couch watching Tv all day, they're trying to find jobs.

Some are, some aren't. Some haven't worked a day in their lazy life because someone else provided for them.

What's that, like 0.10% of the people asking for unemployment? Most of them have worked hard. Anyways, we're getting off topic now.

Oh right, because everyone who can't afford health care is just a lazy *censored.1.3*. Really? Its not always their fault.

Because I totally said everyone is a lazy ass ****.

The middle class gets hit pretty hard too, at least when they have a serious condition. Their insurance companies turn them down (sometimes after accepting them- it's how they turn a profit) and they can't really afford to pay out-of-pocket. D:

That could be avoided by not giving the CEO's 20 million dollar Christmas bonuses. Aww, boo hoo, they only get 5 million dollars this year.

True. I don't think insurance companies nor Hospitals should turn you away because they won't cover you/you can't afford it, especially if it's something very serious. But there's other ways to do this. The bill isn't the way though.

Do you realize that people who WORK and OWN a home get nailed for 60-70% of their wages to go towards taxes. Now, I dont care WHAT Obama says, how can a government that is in finacial turmoil pay for this without taxing us.

OH, thats right he tosses out "We have the 1st 10 years paid for." What about the 10 years after? For those who do not know, Income tax was ORIGINALLY supposed to only be 1% for those who made 100k a year.

For those who dont work, this sounds wonderful. But fact is if you go out and work hard and get a good job they will offer you healthcare. But Healthcare isnt a right. Remember, it was everyones RIGHT to own their own home. Now look at all the houses in foreclosure.

Bottom line, this WILL be government run. And if anyone can tell me ONE government run agency that actually doesnt waste our money and cost us more in taxes I will gladly become a full blown supporter of this!! Fact is there isnt one. This government has no clue how to make things work.

Also, if this is SO good, then why wont our wonderful politicians who love jamming this down our throats sign on board to this healthcare plan? Truth be told, under this healthcare Ted Kennedy wouldnt have had his operation to prolong his life. But thats right, he wouldnt have been on this healthcare plan anyway so it doesnt really matter now does it?

It sure would be nice if people could come to a consensus, huh. =\ Unfortunately it's extremely difficult to please everyone. I mean some people want government-run medicine, some people want no change at all (they must be rich o_o). So if they didn't make some kind of bill, everyone would probably still be arguing. Most people agree that there needs to be some sort of reform, anyway.

Your facts are off there, by a lot. Try again.

Just because you can't afford healthcare means you sit on your ass all day. My dad has a full time job, and he doesn't. He's careful with his money.

Bottom line, this WILL be government run. And if anyone can tell me ONE government run agency that actually doesnt waste our money and cost us more in taxes I will gladly become a full blown supporter of this!! Fact is there isnt one. This government has no clue how to make things work.

If everything the government did sucked, you wouldn't be able o drive to work on roads, or get a public education, or get social security benefits. Of course you can't stand paying money to them, but it's all fine and dandy when it's reversed.

Also, if this is SO good, then why wont our wonderful politicians who love jamming this down our throats sign on board to this healthcare plan? I wouldn't exactly consider brain cancer a minor injury, he would've definitely had surgery. Besides, where the hell are people pulling these facts about bad care out of? It's going to be a normal insurance company, and claiming that it has bad coverage is like claiming that the tooth fairy lives in Atlantis.

No, my facts are DEAD on. Between income tax which is 20%, Property Tax which for me is 20%, throw in Sales Tax which is 7% of every purchase, oh, lets not forget FUEL tax which is another 8%. Thats what 54% oh Im sorry I was 6% off, my bad.

This country is built on the BACKS on the Middle class my friend. You havnt a clue what you are talking about.

For those who dont work, this sounds wonderful. But fact is if you go out and work hard and get a good job they will offer you healthcare. But Healthcare isnt a right. Remember, it was everyones RIGHT to own their own home. Now look at all the houses in foreclosure.

No offense? He needs to get a better job then. Or one that offers healthcare. There are many of them out there. I have worked since I was 15 years old. And EVERY job (Including McDonalds) offered Health Insurance.

Bottom line, this WILL be government run. And if anyone can tell me ONE government run agency that actually doesnt waste our money and cost us more in taxes I will gladly become a full blown supporter of this!! Fact is there isnt one. This government has no clue how to make things work.

Again, all these things come from TAXES. Taxes that are killing the middle class. I pay 6,000 dollars a year in property taxes. The WASTE that goes on the school system is OUT of control. Check out the Movie called The Cartel. It is ALL about the public school system. Social Security is a nice perk right? One that I pay into EVERY week and will NEVER see by the time I retire because the government has pissed it all away. The roads? They come from tax on gasoline. NOW, if we pay 6% on every dollar that get pumped into our tanks then why is it in NJ we cant pay for new roads and such. We had to borrow the money from Washington. OH thats right, its because CORRUPT politicians robbed peter to pay paul.

Also, if this is SO good, then why wont our wonderful politicians who love jamming this down our throats sign on board to this healthcare plan? Truth be told, under this healthcare Ted Kennedy wouldnt have had his operation to prolong his life. I didnt say his injury was minor. I said he wouldve had to WAIT to get the surgery. By the time he got it he wouldve passed away. Also at his age, he wouldve had to wait for a decision to be made by a panel. As far as where are these "facts" coming from? Read the bill my friend. It is ALL in there. Here are a few fun facts you might not know as well.

This IS NOT a normal insurance. It is GOVERNMENT healthcare like they have in Canada. Which if it is SO good then why is Canda trying to get out of it because it is bankrupting the country.

Oh, and how will government funding be dispersed to medical schools?!? NOT by who has the top students. More like who has the most students that are minorities. More or less afirmitive action.

To wrap this all up? I cant even believe I am debating this with what a 13 year old? You really need to stop listening to your teachers and read the bill for yourself. Then again, since you are not a lawyer you probably wont understand it. Bottom line I am 35, I live in the real world. I pay bills, I pay taxes, and I know this is NOT what this country was built upon. Taxations without representation anyone?
