Gamestop enjoys messing with people

So my local Gamestop opened at 11 AM this morning, and I got there at 10:55, waiting for them to open. I practically had my face pressed up against the glass window (longest five minutes of my life.)

I see an employee step out from the back, and he sees me. He starts slow motion walking to the door, and when he finally got there, he took out his keys slowly, and slowly unlocked the door; it was terrible. I can't help but laugh about it now, but it was awful in the moment.

Just thought I'd share that with you.

Lol yeah, when I went to pick up Brawl at gamestop on the release day there, the guy looked at the reserve list and said I wasnt on it, but he was joking, I didnt notice right away.

They certainly have a twisted sense of humor over there.

I went to the Brawl midnight release, and there were so many crazy people there, they knew not to mess with any of them.

This group of kids had their faces pressed up against the glass making goat noises. Very weird.

The guy gave me the weirdest look when I asked for the game. He's like..."Animal Crossing...?" With a, "Aren't you too old for this?" kind of look.

Sorry about that! We actually had a staff meeting scheduled across the board this morning, so none of the stores (at least in my district) were open until 11 o o;;

At least you got your copy early in the day? XD It sucks being on staff and being the first one to GET your copy - and the last person of the day to get to PLAY it...

I got mine at Best Buy and I got there just as they opened the door, but the game was not on the shelves, so I asked an employee and he said he was looking for it too-out comes the radios and someone was in the back bringing out all the stock. *whew!* I was worried for a second they wouldn't have it, but they did.

I remember when I went to go buy Brawl the first day it came out (I was dumb enough to not put it on reserve), and I pretty much got in a fight with some ********, fat redneck kid who barely had any teeth (no offense if any of you are part of the "deep south"). Well, sort of pinned him down and did the whole Mike Tyson treatment on him, except that I didn't bite a chunk of his ear off. >.>
I got the cops called on me, too.

I got my copy at 2 pm the other day and since I had it reserved at GameStop I asked for it and the guy then asked me for my name, and I was like "It might be under my mom's..." then he interrupted and said "just give me your name"

It's not as weird as your guys' stories but I thought it was weird

Ugh I hate Gamestop. I was stupid and preordered ACCF, but got it mailed instead of in store pickup. Today it said "Preorder ships 11/21" I was mad. Then they changed to "will ship in 24 hours". Why Gamestop? Why?

Hahaha. Your stories are funny. I got none to tell... other than for brawl i had 2 choices. Buy it on Amazon or pre order. I had 2 wait a 20 min line and pay $5 to preorder it. Then i had to wait another 30mins to get it, and pay another $50+tax. now, my friend got Brawl 1 day before the release date, and he got it off amazon. $50 free shipping no wait.

Now thats Bull Sh**
