So, I found out that you can use emotions while sitting in chairs! The only differences between emotions while standing and emotions while sitting are that your legs don't move, and your hands start out closer to each other. I tested out all of the emotions I have, to see how this effects them, and here's the peculiarities I found (For optimal viewing purposes, make sure the camera is situated so the character faces you):
All Emotions: When sitting in the Lab Chair, the electricity stops for the duration of the emotion. Huh.
Joy: Arm and head placement makes the arms look odd.
Inspiration: Arms make a circle motion in order to clasp together.
Showmanship: Because you're sitting, the lower body won't pivot, making your character twist to the left.
Disbelief: Like showmanship, but more pronounced.
Pride: Similar to showmanship, but twists to the right instead.
Outrage: Instead of twisting, the whole upper body just leans to the left. Looks rather odd.
Shyness: I don't know... it just seems odd while sitting.
Resignation: Arms move to the regular position, then pause, before the emotion starts.
Shocked: Wheee, I'm an airplane!
Surprise: Wheee, I'm a different airplane!
Flourish: This is by far the best one. You can't turn around, so you have a spasm in your chair. You really have to try it for yourself.
I have been forgetting to go to Shrunk's shows, so I am missing the following emotions: Anger, Disappointment, Disinterest, Fear, Heartbreak, Irritation, Love, Sleepiness, Surprise, Sheepishness, Greetings, Sunniness, and, most importantly, the Shrunk Funk Shuffle! Try out those 12 seated, and see what ridiculousness occurs!
