Can amiibo villagers move out naturally?

The nice thing however, is that you can always scan them back in. It's not a one time scan, so you can have them leave, get new villagers either via island hopping or have Tom Nook surprise you. If you prefer your scanned villagers, scan them back in (3x) and you're back to where you started. It would also reset them so that's a factor too.

Yes, they definitely can, but like Dewasa said, it's a great way to reset them when they leave and then you can rescan!
