Well my ipod has been through a lot back from when I went to highschool... but it has finally died, gone kaput. And my question is... what can I replace it with? Should I just cave in and get another ipod or what? I just graduated college, soo my parents have been wanting to get me something lol.

My experience with Ipods hasn't been great. I got one, which died on me, and Apple refused to replace it. I don't know if the newest generation is any good, I'd look around at some reviews.

If your parents want to get you something just ask for that. Unless you want something different from them.

I am so sorry to hear about that.. :[

I'm not really sure what you should replace it with... hmmm.

Exactly. Haha, I remembered that after I posted.

Get the Zune HD. Its OS is incredible. They're at some discounted prices right now. Don't even get me started on the beautiful screen. That thing's amazing.

I have had three iPods now, and I'm fairly certain that their batteries have an effective life of about a year. Seriously.

Mine lasted 6 months, and I never used it more than half an hour a day, at most.

You see I never had the battery problem... though I guess it was getting shorter lately.... my problem is I keep it on me a lot, and thus it goes through some wear and tear. About a year ago I started having trouble with hearing music in one headphone, it was the headphone jack, but I just got in the habit of listening with only the working side. but recently it was acting up even more, and I actually opened it up and somehow fixed it... and now the center button can't be pressed.... sooo yeah.... I don't think I messed with that though, and it has been a few weeks since I opened it up :-p
