Best Internet Service?

Okay, AT&T sucks when it comes to internet.
Something reliable.

What would be the best provider to switch to.

I don't have Uverse. It's just a basic AT&T internet service. For the past month and a half, the internet's been closing down on us; in other words, it's going on and off.

I think that's more just for phone, but relies on the internet connection.. correct me if i'm wrong.

I have comcast right now, *censored.2.0*sux due to cable/internet going out sometimes, but it's faster than the DSL i had with at&t

but at&t never had any problems, always worked. just wasn't blazing-fast.

whats your exact problem? I'm not sure/am too lazy to google up all the different ISP's, so unless it's just godawful slow or buggy, i'd suggest stay with at&t. price and stuff is another thing, due to packages and crap (u-verse, or whatever comcast bundle there is)

edit: forgot to mention that your location probably has a lot to do with it. my connection might have gone down because where i'm living now is backwards-assed/way out in the middle of no-whea, and at&t might have done the same if we had i out here (I don't think it's even offered, actually)

i'd prefer at&t though, as i've heard (before using it) that comcast isn't always reliable/goes down sometimes.

is it as slow as dial up? point made.

we paid somehing like $20 a month i think, it was the middle package, not the lowest but no the highest.

no clue about comcast though. i think it's more expensive than DSL, though. hate that.

Take in mind, I am in the USA. MOre than likely, we won't have the same internet providers some do in the UK.

Well you did ask what is the best Internet service. So you are going to see some people with UK ISP's. Plus this game is a worldwide game.

I have optimum online, it works pretty well. ^^ It's only gone out in like, severe snow/thunderstorms

I have Fios, I plan on changing it to Optimum due to faster service.
