That's the trouble with Nintendo... I've realized after awhile that they make the real money from accesories, addons and whatnot.
I'm getting sick of them releasing games that require peripherals to be fully enjoyed.
Oh you bought city folk? Well if you have any hope of communicating with other people you better get e keyboard or wii speak!
Were you suckered into buying FF:CC? If you plan on playing with other people, god help you if you don't have 4 gba's and cables to go along with it.

So yeah, I won't be buying it, I'm sick of buying slightly modified handhelds/peripherals.

I don't think that's true. For example, with the 360, you originally had to buy a separate WiFi adapter if you wanted to play online. It cost like $100 too. You don't really need any of the accessories Nintendo came out with.

Unlike Microsoft and Sony, however, Nintendo actually makes a profit on their consoles. The other companies rely on game sales.

i think he's emphasizing more on the games that had GBA connectivity, which not only required a separate game boy advance for every player, but a gba-gcn cable for each one as well.

they've done away with that since wireless, but the wii-mote requiring a nunchuck is kinda an underhanded way to split the price into two purchases. true you don't NEED a nunchuk for all games, and the system comes with one, but it makes it seem cheaper when it's really the same price.

something like that.

So, the Game looks realistic, and the graphics are better than ever.. i'm Getting it :D

It all depends what the final version will look like when its eventually comes out. I'm a avid fan of the Wild World version but found City Folk boring. I?ve only played CF for a couple of hours while I played WW to death. I'm going to wait and see what the reviews are like before making a decision.

I'll probably get it the week it comes out, but I'm worried that the game will have the same instrumental music as the last two.
Honestly, no matter how vague it sounds, the music is what killed AC:WW and AC: CF for me.

I couldn't agree with you any more.
I simply adored the music from the first one, Animal Crossing Population Growing for the Nintendo Gamecube.
Many negative reasons regarding the second and third games kept me loyal to the first one as I didn't like the others as much.

i'll definitely get AC3DS, i loved the ds-version, but didn't like the tv-console-versions.. so my old ds is broken and i don't want to buy a new one when i can buy the 3ds soon with an awesome new animal crossing.

Yes, since I am an Animal Crossing addict I will, but I personally hate Nintendo's decisions in getting rid of Tortimer, making you the mayor, and changing the look.

If it's actually a new Animal Crossing and not a rehash then I'll most likely get it but I'll probably be getting it late due to getting a 3DS.

If it fails to meet my expectations, back to Minecraft. :P
