I was watching today’s Nintendo Treehouse live presentation on YouTube and was stunned. Until now, it wasn’t obvious how much Pokopia resembles Animal Crossing. Even the music reminded me of an Animal Crossing game. In short, this feels less like Dragon Quest Pokémon Builders and more Animal Pokémon Crossing.
It makes me wonder if Pokopia is hinting at what a Nintendo Switch 2 Animal Crossing 6 game might look like: fully 3D, 360-degree explorable environments, cube-based landscapes, and building houses for yourPokémon villagers.
