But my luck seems to be good, since I found Shep on an island and I've been wanting him for a long while now

Also I might be wrong but I think that your passport quote is what your in game character says in the dream if a visitor interacts with you. I watched a youtuber who visited a dream and apparently the island rep said the same thing that was on her passport

Yeah. Now that you mentioned it, I searched my island and didn't find any shining spot. :/
IIRC, the time it happened to me, I TTed back and then forth pretty quick and I figured it was related to that. I haven't had it happen since. In every game she's been in, she's a fortune teller. Mainly she just gives cute and sometimes funny fortunes. But she'd also tell you about luck- you can have good or bad luck and that could affect things like tripping and finding bells. Here's a better breakdown of how luck works.

Villagers now have dialogues about the bugs and fishes placed inside their house.
I'd guess the purple ticket is a winning raffle ticket (like how the fortune cookies on Redd's stand worked in NL, there were prize and dud tickets), but I don't know about the bag(/flowerpot?).
How do you obtain tickets from Luna? Is it tied to how many dreams you visit?
