but yeah, I made my storage alt mid-late last month
though idk how far I'll go with it, but I do have the names and such all decided for every remaining account too, for if I was to fill up on all 8 player houses
Meee, I started when Redd visited so I could buy two art from him, plus you could get dupe recipes from you villagers (and Celeste to when she's around), and DIY bottles
After my fourth I thought "ok well now I'm done with new characters. Definitely." Then I realized that I hadn't yet placed a single house on the beach. Imagine! So now I have five.
Someday after I've placed my seventh character I'll probably find some little 5x5 unused plot of land and find myself edging towards the add new switch user option lol.
I had a second character initially, but didn't like having more than one tent/house on the island so I scrapped them. I might make another one again for storage though cause man there's no way I have enough.
Made a second character for a café, might turn it into an inn if we get the roost back, got ideas for more character buildings, but I want to plan my town out more first.
Redd had two real paintings and I didn't want to lose out on one of them. I always intended to make a second character at some point anyways, since I wanted an extra house to make into a school, but having a painting in the balance sure made me hurry the process along. The only bad part is that I couldn't put her house where I wanted its final spot to be, so I just had to stick her up by my 3rd tier pond, randomly. She has practically no yard! Poor thing.
I had to make another one for more storage and wanted to buy more redd paintings also you can send your spare DIY to your other character in mailbox for storage too which is helpful haven’t got any room for a 3rd house tho :3
I made a second character to make sure I can buy more than one painting from Reed since he doesn't show up that often at all. Would be good to have that extra storage as well later when I am running out of room at my own house.
I made a second carrier for 4 main reasons:
1. Being able to buy two things from Redd the day he comes
2. Two money trees a day
3. Being able to order 10 nook things from the abd a day rather than 5
4. I wanted to turn the house into a bakery (the extra storage doesn’t hurt either)
Made a second character using my Japanese nintendo account for language practice, but these days I'm too lazy to "study" AC so I just play on my English account and am turning the second player's house into an inn
