anyone else hate web stars?

the 'phandom' is quite annoying, i like dan and phil as youtubers but most of the fandom sucks tbh and it's weird that people ship them.
i used to really like this youtuber named sxephil, i mean he changed a lot video wise because he got super popular, but i always loved his satirical approach to the news he delivered. i should check back up on him...
i hate pewdiepie tho. if thats what you mean.
it's usually the "lets play" guys i find annoying and for children.

a lot of internet stars and their fans are annoying af
the only ones i truly despise though are people who are ****ty or rly rude lmao. like markiplier (transphobic), nash grier (do i even have to say why), sam pepper (same here), tyler oakley (has said some really Ew stuff i do not like him at all) etc...
people like pointlessblog and those that have tons of fans for doing close to nothing annoy me, but i don't really hate them...... or well............ i cannot stand pointlessblog but that's just because he's rlY ANNOYIng.... i can stand others like him ;;

I find pointlessblog, zoella, etc quite annoying but for some reason i like caspar lee and tyler Oakley (don't like how his sexuality defines him as a person and dominates his every move though) lmao??
i mostly use youtube for music, buzzfeed, and to watch dan and phil when they upload, which isn't very often.

I suppose to an extent, yes. But there are some people out there that I really love. I do enjoy Game Grumps a lot, and I think they've still stayed true to who they are, and still ultimately do what they love, it's just they are fortunate enough to now make money with what they do, and that's totally fine by me, since they still make really funny and enjoyable videos/content. I mean they're pretty popular on YouTube now so I guess they are "web stars".
There are a few other people on YouTube I really like too but they are significantly less popular so they aren't really "stars".
The vast majority of YouTube stars come across to me as sell-outs, though, and their fandoms can be a bit cringey, however I don't really know an awful lot of them lmao. Whenever I hear people at school talk to me about them I'm like wait what who. ;v; And the thing is is that an awful lot of them don't really do anything except act stupid/cringey and talk about "SO AWKWARD xd relatable" stories in front of the camera to get views, it's not like they are actually doing anything particularly interesting or creative... but I suppose that's down to your own opinion.

they're ok, doesn't bother me if a group of people are into them. a friend of mine showed me a game grumps video of them playing nintendo land or whatever the heck that game is and damn, they made some really impressive content. i watch LPs only when i wanna know what the game is like and not for ****s and giggles, though. i used to watch LPs of gta 5, the last of us and a few other games by theradbrad, since i don't really have the games myself,and man did i love his videos. if i need to watch a LP i'd check his channel first.

YouTubers used to be funny. Then they aged, and their fan base did not. Now they seem borderline creepy when they're nearing/past their 30's and acting like teenagers.
