Does anybody else with cats think your cat has a specific smell?

I know this is a really weird question, but my 9 month old kitten that I rescued smells like powder and bread, has anyone else experienced this?

Yes my childhood cat smelt of maple syrup all over

My cat now smells like pure fine wool.

I think they all smell like freshly washed linen that came out of the dryer. ^-^

Yeah,the last cat I had also smelled lightly of freshly washed and dried laundry.She was a very clean kitty and I never had to give her a bath.

My cat smells like a livin CHICKEN

Not like cooked chicken. Like. I guess the meat she eats sweats out from her, my mom says literally her pet chickens smelled like that

She’s not dirty or anything at all, I think she smells more because she’s old.

My cat smells like nothing. I’ve tried before, but no…just pure air. She’s always grooming herself, so maybe that’s why.

However, when she yawns, I get a whiff of tuna.

I have three of them and I'm more concerned with the fact that I feel their fur when I breathe than what it smells like as it tickles my nostrils and makes me sneeze, lol.

There is fur EVERYWHERE. All of the time.

My one cat has fur so fine and thin that it gets everywhere and in my nose even when I'm petting her. So forget about smelling them lol.

my cats all smell the same, which is largely to say of basically nothing. though our recent kitten, he was a stinky boy for a month or so. couldn't figure out why. i thought it was because he had bad breath and liked to wash, but the vet said his teeth/mouth are fine and he smells normal now, so. who knows what that was all about lol.

My cats definitely have a "cat" smell that isn't like, repulsive or nasty. Just smells like, idk. Hair? Skin? Warm? Cat smell.
