Episode(s) you hate from a favourite show

I love Steven Universe but I really, really hated the episode with Uncle Grandpa or whatever his name is. I have no idea why they did that crossover episode.

eva's magmadiver has to be the shining stinky star of a generally bad episode in an otherwise stellar roster

I mean there are some good character moments, so it's not completely without merit, but that isn't near enough to save it from mediocrity

Not really a show, but series. I really enjoyed Avatar the Last Airbender and so when Legend of Korra was announced I was expecting it to deliver something better than it did. How they went from Atla to Korra, and all of the questionable choices they made, really confused me how two creators that made something great turned their sequel series into trash.

I never really dug too deeply into it, but my only guess is that the creators got too much credit for the shows success and a lot of it had to do with writers and others behind the scenes that didn't make it over to Korra.

lol I forgot about that episode 😅

It was like that weird crossover in OK KO with Sonic. But at least that wasn't so bad.

Coincidentally I just finished watching this season yesterday. It picks up again once House finalises his new team, but I much preferred the original team.
Interesting. There were some people during that game show first episode who were INSUFFERABLE. Can't imagine sitting through any more of that. Idk how you did it 😂

Pure determination because I loved the first three seasons! And I was happy with his selection. I'm now on season 6 and think those early episodes in season 4 were the shows lowest points, competing with the first two eps of season 6.

He selects three people, and Foreman returns to work with the diagnostic team within the first couple of episodes. Cameron and Chase continue to make appearances.

#39 Taub (Peter Jacobson) - he was the former plastic surgeon.

#6 Kutner (Kal Penn) - don't remember anything notable about his character early on, I figured he'd be cut (mostly seen Penn play guest roles), but I really liked his character in this.

#13 Thirteen (Olivia Wilde)... yeah she just continued using her assigned number for privacy. We don't even learn her real name until late season 4.

I might have to give it a shot next time I'm bored. Thanks!

Definitely whenever The Simpsons gives an episode to a celebrity, especially as an ego boost. The Musk and Gaga ones were the worst of the bunch, but not the only examples.

And while she’s a great character with some interesting storylines, many of King of the Hill’s Peggy’s actions are inexcusable (her sabotaging Lucky’s SAT tutoring so he won’t marry Luanne and only finally relenting a little one she gets to hit him was especially horrible) make her hard to sympathize with and watching her lie cheat and steal only to never let her ego go makes you want a different focus character for a while.

I will not stand for The Simpsons slander 😭
I love The Simpsons! That’s how I got far enough into it to see those episodes XD
Springfield has enough life in it to stand on its own without these pop-ins (including the Family Guy crossover that just showed why the two shows don’t actually mesh well despite one being so inspired by the other)

of course the scott's tots epi of the office. i know some people who will fully skip the epi when it comes on, i'll watch but it is hard to stomach.
+1, this is what immediately pops into my head when answering this question.

My other answer is the infamous GoT episode of The Mountain and The Viper. Not only is that scene hard to watch because Pedro Pascal's face is too handsome to do that to but also because OUCH. Yet I would still rather be forced to watch this scene rather than THAT scene in Scott's Totts.

Almost all the Daniel-centric episodes in Stargate SG-1. He was just an annoying character in general, and I didn't enjoy the (too many, quite frankly) episodes that were based solely around him, like that one episode with Michello (idk how to spell the name, but the one I'm talking about is the one with the old guy who switches bodies with Daniel) and another where a bunch of souls/minds get put into Daniel's (they were escaping their planet or something and their consciousness are stored in the ship which then get transferred to Daniel). All those episodes felt like was as if Michael Shanks (Daniel's actor) just wanted to show off his acting skills and how "greatly versatile" he is.
