ACNH POSITIVITY Thread

i live in northeastern united states (rhode island specifically) and we just had a HUGE blizzard. like, 32 inches of snow. it's the most snow we've had in years.

fortunately at my house we didn't lose any power or have any trees fall or anything, but it is definitely a lot harder to leave the house.

i turned on my switch to play animal crossing today after work and was surprised at just how relieved and happy i was to see the snow had melted on my island...of course we have lovely winters in animal crossing but i'm happy that spring will be here soon and am looking forward to spring activities...

Same here. I said many times why I was looking forward to the snow melting away. Now I am looking forward to March. We are gonna get several new creatures, the most notable being the spider crab and the golden trout. ^_^

I'm just glad the snow is gone now. I'm not sure what it is, but I never had this issue with the snow in NewLeaf. And after looking at them together for comparison, NewLeaf's ground pattern doesn't blend so much. It has a bit of pop to it. Or maybe it's that NH's snow almost feels too clean and sterilized. There's defintely something about it that makes it very dull?

The snow in NH is practically blinding.

How about that you can pay off your mortgage then pay a whole bunch of Nook points and get your very own ABD (or ABDs) and put wherever you want without having to first save up a gazillion bells?

i looooove how smooth the animation on when brewster pours you a cup of coffee — such a small and lovely detail!

also very excited for the season to change to spring in the game, that will be so nice!

If you have a villager over, they can sing to whatever song you have playing. Rooney pinged me to come over to my house, and he was singing to "Two Days Ago" 🥺💕

I honestly never knew that. I thought it was always the same. :O
Yeah, I'd be sitting there just button slamming on the B to try to get it hurried up and gone already. Now after two or three pictures he's done with no button slamming! Now if only he'd do a model without having to do the fishing challenge first. I end up with more bug models than fish because if Flick happens along during one of my TT sessions I'll stop to get a model made.

FINALLY caught a spider crab yesterday!! now i won't have any new critters to i need to catch until may...

but i felt bad because most of the donations to the museum or from me and not my other save file. so i placed the spider crab on the island, picked it up on my other save file, and donated it from there lol. btw, if you do this, it doesn't add the creature to your critterpedia, you have to actually catch it yourself for that. in case you didn't know that and were about to cheese your critterpedia by buying fish and bugs off other TBT users.

You cannot even drop/trade critters anyway. That would be useful for a future AC game, though!

And yeah, I am not a fan of relying on other save files to get the critters I need. They are still gonna be as rare as before and I would still need to catch them on my actual one for it to be added to my Crittipedia, like you said. I just like to catch them AND donate them on my actual save file.
