ACNH POSITIVITY Thread

i live in northeastern united states (rhode island specifically) and we just had a HUGE blizzard. like, 32 inches of snow. it's the most snow we've had in years.

fortunately at my house we didn't lose any power or have any trees fall or anything, but it is definitely a lot harder to leave the house.

i turned on my switch to play animal crossing today after work and was surprised at just how relieved and happy i was to see the snow had melted on my island...of course we have lovely winters in animal crossing but i'm happy that spring will be here soon and am looking forward to spring activities...

Same here. I said many times why I was looking forward to the snow melting away. Now I am looking forward to March. We are gonna get several new creatures, the most notable being the spider crab and the golden trout. ^_^

I'm just glad the snow is gone now. I'm not sure what it is, but I never had this issue with the snow in NewLeaf. And after looking at them together for comparison, NewLeaf's ground pattern doesn't blend so much. It has a bit of pop to it. Or maybe it's that NH's snow almost feels too clean and sterilized. There's defintely something about it that makes it very dull?
