I'm gonna be honest, I've seen these before and I just wasn't impressed. the artwork is incredible but it doesn't look like the characters it's supposed to. Tom Nook just doesn't look like Tom Nook at all. I don't say it to be mean I'm just curious if anyone else feels like these drawings just don't look like the characters.

it's not a bad thing at all what you are thinking! art is a highly subjective thing afterall, so if you aren't feeling that these are matching up to what you think the characters are, don't you worry even a little bit.

That's a very good way of thinking about things actually. I might have the image in my mind of Tom Nook as a middle aged wholesome dad still running the family business but the person who drew this might have a different idea.

These are nice artworks, but I wouldn't upload images that don't belong to you next time without giving credit.

i’ve seen other fanart renders of human!tom nook and they’re kinda similar to this one. i’ve always pictured tom nook to be a burly brown man not necessarily a DILF but im not complaining...

No...I agree with you. This is definitely not how I would imagine Tom Nook or Mabel looking. Mabel especially looks like a rebellious teenager. That is straight up Ramona from Scott Pilgrim vibes. Pierce just looks like some random with bright blue hair and don't even get me started on Tom Nook
