There?s some cosmetic differences on the actual card but once you scan it in it?s the exact same character that would normally be in your game so you?ll be fine. I have some Japanese versions and they work perfectly.
Villagers and residents (created characters) have always been included in the same list though. It?s always been the case that you can create up to 4 other resident players in previous games but have the same amount of villagers. I think it?d be too difficult to do what you?re suggesting here...
Harvey mentions being from ?the next island over? so I think it?ll be where we find him. Possibly my boat as others had mini ones we do have a dock which we don?t know the purpose of yet.
They only did that in NL trailers cause it was the big new thing though. Other than being the mayor obviously. I think they?re deliberately hiding it cause they?ve changed it up. At least that?s what I?m hoping!
Same!! I have high hopes for the bomber type jacket they showed in the direct (could have been a trailer maybe). It looks just like one I have in real life and I love it.
Oh yeah, sorry I wasn?t clear. I bet we can absolutely do this in game but it won?t summon anything. They just did this bit of gameplay to show off the night sky and the meteor (which I think is our first confirmation of meteor showers in NH).
Man but you?ve got me thinking now how awesome it...
I?d love it to be a thing to summon someone or something by the sea! But sadly I think it?s just done for the trailer. I?m so excited for a playable ocarina though.
I don?t think we have to pay to participate fully in events. They were clear that it would be free updates in the direct.
I would however pay to unlock new NPCs. Definitely for a second island, maybe as someone said above a smaller island.
