Quick Question about different WiFi conections

I just moved to a new house. At my old house we had Fibo Optic Cable, but at my new house I have DSL, that's all they really offer at the house.
Does anyone else have DSL? If so, how the connectivity? Just wondering if it's going to be a pain to play with others, because I have trouble even watching youtube.
