The best way to do the Gracie Fashion Check is to time travel.
Once you have her for the first visit and are done with it then time travel forward one day.
Close and save then time travel back one day to the date Gracie is there.
Do the check and repete the process.

Doing this you can finish her check in one day ... plus if you are renting your items from Lucitine it makes it easier.
