Customization is really where this game excels. (Not sure if people are fully aware of just how incredible the customization is)...but you are talking about the ability to create literally anything if you have the patience and skill. And also the ability to download creations from others if you lack the patience and skill. Here are some examples of what is possible:


Granted, you cannot interact with things like the book store or the ice cream truck.
(But merely having them to look at is pretty impressive).

Bringing back this thread because I've just now gotten around to playing it.

I got it as part of the Humble Games bundle and have been playing on Steam Deck, so I didn't have to pay a lot for it. I'm pleasantly surprised so far. It's clearly trying to copy Animal Crossing, and while it's inferior to AC in most areas, it's still interesting/different enough for me to want to keep playing. I wouldn't recommend it to everybody because I can understand how AC players may be disappointed in it. That said, if you're curious or bored and go in with managed expectations, it might be worth checking out.
