My favourite villagers of each personality are:
Normal: Pekoe, I never used to have a favourite normal until I got her in my city folk town and she became my favourite normal.
Peppy: Ruby (obviously!) but I've had her in so many towns, that i've gotten tired of her over time. She'll always be one of my favourite villagers of all time though. In my new town, i'm planning to replace her with Agent S so hopefully I like her just as much.
Uchi: Fuchsia/Katt and possibly Ursala? I couldn't pick just one because both have grown on me equally, and I like them both quite a lot. I've only had Ursala for a short while, so she's still growing on me but I think she'll become one of my favourites. I don't usually like the bear villagers but she's so adorable!
Snooty: This question is kind of hard because I tend to go from snooty to snooty, since they all have such nice designs. I don't really have a favourite but I guess Portia? I've had her the longest in one of my towns, and i've enjoyed her company.
Lazy: Papi or Pudge? there's not many lazies that I like because most of their designs don't appeal to me, but Papi and Pudge's designs definitely appeal to me. Papi was the first lazy I ever had, in my first town and I loved him the moment I got him. For a while, he didn't appeal to me anymore until I recently got him back in my most recent town and I love him all over again.
Pudge because I had him in my last town before the one I recently deleted, and I quite liked him.
Cranky: Chief. There's only two other crankies that I like which are Fang and Rooney, but both have things design-wise that i'm not really fond of but I can still enjoy them.
Smug: Marshal, because of his colour palette. He's always easily fitted every own theme i've ever had, and that's why I like having him in town and because I really like him as a villager. This time around I don't have him because I want to try new smugs, but i'm considering inviting him back someday if that doesn't work out.
Jock: Genji, because he's my favourite species and I enjoy his design a lot. He's one of the villagers i've enjoyed having around the most, and I can't imagine any of my towns without him. He's partly the reason why I deleted my last town after I moved him out to make room for the cafe, only to realise I couldn't put it there. I hope to get his amiibo card someday though. He's the only villager that i'm sure i'm going to like forever.
