i always have something stuck in my head - sometimes it makes sense because i've just heard it on tiktok or whatever, but a lot of the time it's way out of left field. sometimes even a massive throwback?

I spend too much time listening to music so it ends up happening whenever I'm alone and not listening to anything. It's happening right now and I actually wasn't paying attention to it before reading this thread, haha.

Brooo, the Squeaky Clean Sprint music has been in my head all day 2 days ago on Saturday. I wasn't complaining as it was a cozy song, but I haven't really played that course on 8DX lately for it to just randomly play in my head over and over. I did get to play that course during that Saturday night, but man was it strange.

I have not listened to the song Shalala Tambourine by Shigeaki Kato in years - easily over a decade. But the tune still gets stuck in my head on a regular basis. It's not even a properly released song, it was sung in concert a few times and then included as a bonus MV on a limited edition concert DVD.

Music is always stuck in my head so much, especially in the morning that I keep track of what songs pop up in my head when I wake up. Usually, it tends to be things that I've listened to recently but it definitely happens with songs that I haven't listened to in a while!

This was probably the most recent song that got stuck in my head despite not listening to it for a while

I have a couple of songs I avoid on my playlist, because they get stuck in my head on a loop at night. It's not pleasant when wanting to sleep.

I usually hate it when music gets stuck in my head. Sometimes I go sleep with a song stuck in my head and I wake up with it STILL playing, it's the worst! I have had a song stuck in my head for the last few days and my boyfriend kept reminding me of it yesterday ugh.

Usually it's a song I have heard recently, it would be rare for something to randomly pop into my head.

Yes, all the time! There's one specific song that pops into my head pretty much every day even though I barely listen to it. I like the song, but it's a sad song so it's certainly a mood-killer lol

Sometimes I actually dream of hearing a song in my sleep. The strangest instance of this was me hearing the long version of Meatloaf’s I Would Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That) randomly in my dreams and the very next day it was announced that he had died the previous evening and the news were just told of his passing. It was so weird that I had just dreamt about hearing one of Meatloaf’s signature songs and now he was dead.

Yes, especially when I’m working on art! Whenever I’m drawing, I always end up humming songs that I haven’t listened to in years, get them stuck in my head, and then have to take a break from my drawing to listen to them immediately.

One of my most recent examples is “This Is Me” from Camp Rock, which I haven’t listened to or watched since I was a kid.
